The CAPE was an extremely enjoyable experience from the moment we arrived and were greeted by James who was very friendly. This boutique hotel thought of everything- from chocolates in our room to essential oils to diffuse, to a personalized note. We loved it and felt pampered. The breakfast was amazing - warm croissants, fresh fruit and fresh eggs. A complementary bottle of bubbles in the room we enjoyed on the balcony. We spent an hour having a drink in the main room and the atmosphere with the music and rustic charm was so relaxing. We had the Cary Grant suite, where the private washroom is down the hall however robes were provided and it is such an intimate environment it was not a bother. We walked to the downtown restaurant we went to and to a brewery. It was a great location. We loved it and will definitely be back.

The special touches were appreciated, a coffee press , complimentary wine, beer and water in the fridge, and a delicious breakfast delivered in the morning. Room was beautiful as was the bathroom. A lovely property

We had a wonderful stay at The Cape. The room was large and beautiful. The products in the room were really nice from the bath products to the complimentary drinks in the fridge. The location if very convenient to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay at The Cape!

Stayed at the Carry Grant Suite, there is no bathroom in the suite, there was only 1 bath towel so my husband had to use a small towel and no robes or slippers, How were we supposed to come from the bathroom through the hallway? Barefoot? The handle of the bathroom door was broken, fortunately I had my phone with me and I called my husband to open the door from outside.And there was no one in the property to talk or ask for these things to be fixed.Bottom line not happy at all.

Lovely Experience
Lovely experience. Accommodations were beautiful, extremely comfortable and included breakfast was delicious. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay within a short walking distance to the Main Street of Picton. Staff were friendly and very helpful with restaurant suggestions.

Wonderful staff, competent, went the extra mile and so genuinely welcoming. Beautiful property and Elizabeth Taylor room was lovely. Bed was very comfortable too. The extras with free beverages (hot and cold), birthday cake, all extra treats for a short stay. Thank you for a memorable stay and hope to be back again soon!

The property was beautiful, very charismatic. The breakfast included in our stay was wonderful and I love how we got to choose which room to take it in. I do wish the door from the adjoining suite was locked from our side, as we did have someone pop their head into our hallway from the other suite. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to walk to dinner downtown in five minutes. We will return here.

The staff were very welcoming and a lovely breakfast was waiting for us in the morning. The property was a combination of newly renovated bathrooms, but the integrity of the original mansion was preserved throughout the majority of the property. I can’t even imagine how beautiful this would be during the summer months. Both casual and upscale restaurants nearby, as well as shops, trails, and marinas. A very pretty town.

Belinda is the gold standard for hospitality!
Our stay at the CAPE was wonderful, especially because Belinda made sure of it. Some of the other staff were off sick - so Belinda had to step in, and she was amazing! She served us a tasty breakfast every morning (hard to believe it was Continental) gave us good suggestions even though many things were closed due to Covid, and accommodated my requests. The room was beautiful, bed very comfortable (bloom mattress), and bathroom modernly updated, spacious, and luxurious. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff is very welcoming, helpful, and courteous. We enjoyed the personal approach within the details. Everything is well-planned so you feel special from the moment you book until you (unfortunately) have to leave. The house is incredible and well-situated into town. We highly recommend it!
