Booked three rooms for one night, as we were parachuting nearby early the next morning.
The staff were very polite and helpful on arrival and throughout.
Food in the evening was good too.
Would certainly stay again.

Good base or overnight stay
Plenty of parking. Room was large, 2 singles & a double bed. Separate lounge area, with settee, tea\coffee & TV. Good sized bathroom. Comfortable bed & lots of storage space if staying for a longer period. Pub served a good selection of meals, food was good. Room included an excellent breakfast. Only minus - decor in need of updating.
Beautiful place with really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious clean and beds really comfy. Food was great and food and drink prices very reasonable.would definitely recommend and also will stay there agai

We were visiting relatives living next to the hotel so it was very convenient. Staff were friendly. My only small complaint would be that there was no fruit on offer for breakfast.
very disappointed first room was not even cleaned moved room shower gel bottles on top off cubicle been there a long time cleaned off by staff but no real concern by manager asked a member off staff to get the manager and all i got as he was standing talking out side was just use the red telephone, dirty fork in restaurant, breakfast crumbs still on table juice glasses needed clean before use. DISAPPOINTING. we had a second room for a work colleague his room had no shower curtain when reported manager said to a member off staff has someone stolen it but no new curtain was fitted or a apology
This has to be the worst condition hotel i have stayed in over the last 15 years of traverl in the UK.
Shabby worn interior, wallpapered by a blind man and falling apart at the seams.
Big hole in floor upstairs nearly had me down twice.
Not a pleasant stay.
Only thing semi good was bed which was comfy but overall -1 star for this grotbox
We stayed here for a wedding in Scorton, great value and nice big clean rooms. Staff were very helpful, lovely breakfast as well. The pub next door also served nice pub food and was handy to have close by. Plenty of car parking. Would recommend if staying in this area.

Two night stay
Trip to visit family. Chosen for location close to where relative lives. Friendly staff, good food. Room in need of decoration and was too warm. Bed was comfortable. Good for an overnight stay.
Stayed over after a Xmas party there. The staff were very friendly. Good food at the party and a really nice breakfast. The room was clean and at the back of the hotel so was nice and quiet. Would stay again.
Arrived to an empty reception, I hung around for a few minutes then went to the toilet, came back to be greeted by a pleasant young man who was very helpful. The bedroom was clean and basic, bathroom again fine. I went out and returned around 11.45pm, walked into the bar to get a drink and some crisps, told it was shut however told him I was a resident so he served me, 10mins later I was still peckish so I asked for another packet of crisps to which I was told I couldn't have one and he shouldn't have served me in the first place as he was told off for doing so, I went to bed hungry.
After a good night's sleep I went for breakfast, there wasn't anyone else there, I did see another table still with dirty plates so I guess I was one of 2 or 3 staying there. Nobody came out of the kitchen for a good ten minutes when they dud I asked for a breakfast, the food was good, she was pleasant. I finished and checked out.
The place needs some serious marketing and attention, it could be a goldmine but just lacked some love.
Not serving residents with a beverages out of hours was a first to me. Would I stay there again? Not in a hurry.
The bed I had in my room was too hard for me and so uncomfortable ; hence cancellation of my fourth night stay, for which i was charged as i only checked out after breakfast on the forth day.
Bright airy room
Tea coffee facilities
Comfortable bed
Good position for Garstang
Good bar food
Good breakfast
Clean hotel.
Quiet night even though it’s on the A 6 and we slept with the window open
Nice hotel, could do with a lift but only one floor up. Pub next door serving real ale and a decent menu with quality food. Great breakfast cooked to order. Our 3rd stay here!
Very comfortable firm bed. Shower in room 15 takes several minutes before the hot water comes through, but once it does, it is very hot - which suited me perfectly. Used the hotel only to sleep as was visiting family who live nearby over Christmas therefore cannot comment on meals. Drinks in the bar were good and a good atmosphere. Would stay again.
