"Birthday gift much appreciated "

"The apartment itself was as pictured and described. We were wanting to eat in suppers and breakfasts and the full kitchen was well appointed. It was very clean.The facilities - pool (we used the indoor lap pool) and gym - were great. Note: there is an extra charge to use the gym. Overall, stay was good but you’d definitely need a car to stay here as it’s quite a hilly area and pretty far from any shops. When we checked in, there were no toiletries, hand soap, etc provided for our week-long stay and as it was a Friday the concierge wasn’t able to help (apparently they are usually provided but this got missed) so we had to drive back to the store which was about a 20-30 min round trip drive at night in an unfamiliar area. Not ideal so perhaps check what is supplied before you drive up to Aloha Hill. It’s got “Hill” in the title for a reason…we counted 94 steps to get down (and back up!) to the pool. Okay for us but if you have any mobility challenges, this resort might not be for you."

"My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in the “Orange Room” (each room has a different color and theme). It was very spacious and comfortable, with quality linens and toiletries. The staff, especially Jacky, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and included a great selection of fresh fruit, cheeses and charcuterie, as well as eggs, breakfast meat, yogurt, juice and fresh breads along with a choice of coffee or tea. Great location - quiet, but within walking distance of restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay here again."

"Very good hotel, would recommend as we have stayed at many hotels around the world. Very tidy the staff are very attentive. We asked the reception for extra towels and we just got back to our room when they arrived! Very quick actions on any query. Large selection in the buffet area. The only downside is it’s extremely busy at dining times so can be very noisy but overall a very good hotel."
