Lower bunks have a privacy curtain but the upper bunks don’t so you’re screwed if you get upper bunk and when I asked if i could change beds, they couldn’t because apparently all the beds were booked even though one in my room was empty. Also there’s zero ventilation (safety concern??) in the room so the room was so hot despite it being spring, and imagine 6 other guys in the room, how bad it would smell.

Prague week trip
Excellent central location, within easy walk of both the old and new town. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, bars in the immediate area. Rooms were spacious, regularly cleaned and airy. Useful kitchen for cooking/eating. Only -ve is that if you have a bed by the window the street noise from the trams can be disturbing, but not overly excessive.

Fair option, I recommend
For the price that I paid, Travel&Joy Backpackers is the perfect cost benefit option. You can't expect that much comfort, but is enough for 3-5 days. Also, the location is amazing and nearby the hostel you can find a lot of restaurant and public transport options. I recommend.

A good cheap place stay. We had a private room so we were in an apartment with 2 other rooms. Beds were falling apart and mattresses old and sunken. if you want a cheap and clean place to sleep this is it though. Good kitchen facilities, although there was no oven. The best part was the location. We walked everywhere. The main sites are about 15-20 minutes away by foot.

Nice place, great location
Lots to like about this place. The location is very good, close to metro and tram stops, and near many of Prague's big attractions. The rooms are spacious and cheery (the one I was in even had a grand piano in it!). And there's a great restaurant/bar with a large outdoor, shaded patio area. The only drawback is that there was one toilet for 18 people to share. If someone was in there, the closest WC was three floors down next to the reception desk.
