Lower bunks have a privacy curtain but the upper bunks don’t so you’re screwed if you get upper bunk and when I asked if i could change beds, they couldn’t because apparently all the beds were booked even though one in my room was empty. Also there’s zero ventilation (safety concern??) in the room so the room was so hot despite it being spring, and imagine 6 other guys in the room, how bad it would smell.

Prague week trip
Excellent central location, within easy walk of both the old and new town. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, bars in the immediate area. Rooms were spacious, regularly cleaned and airy. Useful kitchen for cooking/eating. Only -ve is that if you have a bed by the window the street noise from the trams can be disturbing, but not overly excessive.

Fair option, I recommend
For the price that I paid, Travel&Joy Backpackers is the perfect cost benefit option. You can't expect that much comfort, but is enough for 3-5 days. Also, the location is amazing and nearby the hostel you can find a lot of restaurant and public transport options. I recommend.

A good cheap place stay. We had a private room so we were in an apartment with 2 other rooms. Beds were falling apart and mattresses old and sunken. if you want a cheap and clean place to sleep this is it though. Good kitchen facilities, although there was no oven. The best part was the location. We walked everywhere. The main sites are about 15-20 minutes away by foot.

Nice place, great location
Lots to like about this place. The location is very good, close to metro and tram stops, and near many of Prague's big attractions. The rooms are spacious and cheery (the one I was in even had a grand piano in it!). And there's a great restaurant/bar with a large outdoor, shaded patio area. The only drawback is that there was one toilet for 18 people to share. If someone was in there, the closest WC was three floors down next to the reception desk.

Great location, just a few blocks from the Old Square. Comfortable facilities, and helpful staff. For some reason, in the women's dorms, people didn't talk together much, maybe worried about disturbing others?

Less that satisfactory.
The room was at the top of a great deal of stairs. Really a lot to climb, with no elevator. There were many guests, that were from a different nationality that had no idea how to act in a hostel. They arrived well after the quiet time and very noisily unpack, chatted, had showers, left lights on all over and flooded the bathroom with water and mess. When the staff was told about it they said oh yes, we know. No idea about I forcing the rules so the rest of us were comfortable.

It had a bit of a funny smell and the mattresses weren't the comfiest, but was definitely nice enough for a last-minute, affordable, private room. The bathroom, kitchen, and living space was shared with the other private room, but was well furnished and comfortable.

C'est plus un marchant de sommeil qu'une auberge de jeunesse... C'est la pire auberge de jeunesse que j'ai faite parmi tous mes voyages... Les chambres donnent sur la rue à un carrefour où le tram fait un bruit épouvantable et fait même trembler les murs... Impossible de dormir... Et l'hostel en lui-même ne ressemble à rien et est vétuste. 1 douche et 1 toilette pour 15 personnes ! Bref vous l'aurez compris, à fuir.

Es war unmöglich in den Zimmern direkt an der Straße zu schlafen. Das Hostel befindet sich direkt an Straßenbahn Haltestelle und die ganze Nacht ist Trouble auf der Straße. Abgesehen davon dass man außerdem jedes Geräusch aus der Küche und den Nachbarzimmern mitbekommt. Dichtere Fenster wären super.

Sehr laut, da es direkt an einem Straßenbahnknoten ist. Die oberen Betten haben beim Vorbeifahren etwas gewackelt. Man hat sich mit 16 weiteren Leuten eine Toilette und ein Bad geteilt, was so nicht ausgeschrieben war. Dementsprechend gab es dann auch Probleme der Hygiene und des Wartens.

Talon alin kerros haisi voimakkaasti homeelta, myös huoneistossa haisi ja kylpyhuoneen silikonisaumat olivat epäsiistit ja täynnä hometta, saimme oireita matkan jälkeen, lisäksi huoneessa piti olla oma suihku mutta siellä olikin yhteissuihku huoneiston toisten asukkaiden kanssa. Vastaanoton asiakaspalvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä.

Rezervoval jsem si po třetí v životě a musím říct ze zatím jsem tak na dvou bodech z pěti !!prvni noc kdyby se mnou nebyl ubytován kamarád bych ani nevěděl ze po desáté hodině budou moje klíče k vyzvednutí na nějakém baru,nikdo by mi to ani nesdělil takže bych nevěděl nic..a druhá rezervace tu jsem dělal přes hotels a docela mě zaráží ze po vyplnění dotazníku podotýkám ze jsem vyplnil kolonku ze jsem muž si jde udělat rezervaci na pouze ženském pokoji!!tuto rezervaci jsem si dělal v úterý večer v devět a volali mi v den ubytování což byla středa ze mě neubytuji!!navic pro mě neměli náhradní ubytování !!mozna by bylo fajn kdyby slečna na recepci byla méně na svém soukromém telefonu a věnovala se rezervacim..byl jsem v nepříjemné situaci..navíc hotels.com nemá na lince člověka který mluví plynule česky ??!!prvni paní na lince nás po chvilce prepojila jinam...pardon ale v české republice nikdo kdo by s námi mluvil česky ?!!poté se slečna z recepce zasnazila a problém vyřešila ale zatím moje peníze z reklamace nikde!!!zadny telefonát aby dal někdo věci do pořádku..za mě ze tři rezervaci dvakrát špatně a to je neuspokojivé mějte se fajn s pozdravem lepšího dne Sucharda

複数の線がとまるトラムの駅に目の前にあり、かつ地下鉄の駅からも近い。 交通の便については大変良いが、そのトラムの行き交う音が部屋まで入ってきて夜、うるさいのは事実。 キッチンにテーブルがあり、そこで料理や飲食できるのは良かった。 しかし、wifiに環境があまりよくない。 部屋ではあまり繋がらず、レセプションに行って必要なことは調べた。 それ以外は問題なし。

3층높이의 방이었는데 캐리어 들고 계단으로 다니기가 너무 힘들었습니다..ㅠ 직원분들은 정말 친절하셨습니다. 다만 옆방에 누가 들어왔는지의 영향을 크게 받았습니다. 저희 방앞에 부엌이 있었는데 옆방에 오신 아저씨들이 상의를 탈의한채로 거의 밤새 술을 드셔서 밖을 못나갔네요.... 그래도 하지만 직원분들 친절하시고 바로 앞에 트램정류장있고, 시내쪽도 가까운편이에요!

The location is good. The living room, kitchen, bathroom are goods. But the lockers are too small, everyone cant put their luggage in the locker. No privacy between the beds.
