Was not happy paying an £83 deposit on my card and only getting £60 back, no reason given. Other than that property is very good. I suggest, if you can you pay the deposit in cash, unfortunately I could not as had an early flight on checkout day.

Decent place to stay
Excellent place to stay if you’re on a budget, has a kitchen shared (luckily no one else fancied using it whilst we stayed there) and a shared bathroom. Bedrooms cleaned every other day, although we didn’t have our bed made more than once in seven days, we just got new towels.

The lady at check in was wonderful. All of the staff was really but she was extra helpful to us. I was sick and she opened a little early and arranged for us to get our room earlier as there was surprisingly one available. She was also very kind. The man who checked us out did so very fast as well. Overall, the staff was so easy to deal with and we had great customer service. The room was clean with the TV having a few music channels and news channels I believe in English. The main bathroom in our private room’s apartment (there was 2 private rooms that shared the amenities of the apartment such as 2 bathrooms and a kitchen) had a deep bath tub and hair dryer. This apartment building also has a small elevator and an inexpensive Italian restaurant in it that has good pasta. We had the duck tagliatelle which was superb. There is a Billa grocery store within a few minutes walk, just behind the building, and the Florenc train station is right in front of the apartments. 20 minute walk to the Old Town and 40 minute walk to Prague Castle. None of the walk is uphill either, except for when you are walking up to the Castle of course. The only downsides of this apartment were that our oven did not work but I am sure they have fixed it by now as they said they had a repair man coming. The other downside was that the bed was pretty firm but it was not the worst I have slept on in Eastern Europe. The pillows and blankets were very comfy though and made up for it. Overall, great value! :)

Convenient and welcoming small hotel in Prague
I liked my stay, and it was the right balance of price and quality for me. The front desk hours were nice compared to some other similarly priced options, and when I arrived (or later had questions) the front desk staff were helpful. The area is a bit removed from the city center but convenient: right near the metro/trams/etc. (Florenc station, about 15 minutes to connect to the city center), a 3 minute walk from a large supermarket, and some a couple good restaurants next door. The apartment setup was also convenient for a relaxing stay. One minor issue was that my reservation information said there would be a microwave in the room, so I purchased a microwave dinner at the supermarket one night not realizing I hadn't actually seen a microwave, and it wasn't in my room when I got back to heat and eat the food. So I hope the staff check what is listed here on hotels.com as included with the rooms to avoid confusion, although the staff were helpful (offered to bring me a microwave to my room the next day, though I didn't need it, and let me heat up the food that one time in the front office). I only mention the microwave because it's confusing planning a long distance trip without knowing exactly what to expect. I still had a great stay, and would happily stay here again if I return to Prague.

Weekend in Prague
Only 15 minute walk from old town square & 2 minute walk from nearest metro stop. In a quite street it's clean & comfortable. Would stay here again.

I can recommend this apartment with pleasure, the location is excellent for those who come by bus to Prague, safely, just a couple of minutes from the bus station, everything is close by, a supermarket, a theater, the city center, trams Elevator, clean apartment, very quiet, has everything you need, electric stove, kettle, coffee, tea On my next visit to charming Prague, I will definitely stay here again. There are metro, bus and tram stations near by. Not far from heart of Prague if you like to walk! Everything was ok except you can hear the voice from downstairs very clearly. Disappointing breakfast as they only gave you some toast, jam and snack bar not even eggs or milk. It cost us £9 for 3 days but I’d rather get them in BILLA.

Basic room close to bus station
The place is ideally located across the street from the Florec Bus Station. The room was basic with only a fan to keep cool but it served my needs. Ideally the front desk closes at 10 pm but I was lucky to find it open after my bus arrived behind schedule. Be aware this place is not ideal for people who want to walk to the tourist attractions, it would be a very long walk .

I was not happy with the stay since there is no hot water on 08/09 and 08/12. I have to take super cold water at midnight on 08/09 so my friend called the hotel and then the hotel turned on the hot water on 08/10 morning. On the check out morning (08/12) they turn off the hot water again. I do request refund / discount for my this stay since it was really suffering to taking cuper cold shower at midnight and early morning! Liping

Dear client, please accept our apology for those mentoned troubles which were caused here by the technical problem one from our two water heaters. One of the heater stopped from uknown reasons on 9th and on 12th August. However the found problem had been solved by our receptionist immediately after its reporting to him (there was only reset of the system required), so the pause of hot water runing could me maximum 1 or 2 hours (just until the new reservoir has been heated again). The same problem happened after 3 days again, however it also has been solved immediatelly after its reporting. Such troubles are very unusual here, it probably could coused by the extremly hot weater during those days (the consumption of the hot water was extremly high from the other days). Sure we called the proffesional service to check the heaters again and it should be there everything all right now. Excuse that we are not able to provide you any money refundaton when the pause in running of hot water had been so short - maximum 1 or 2 hours. We do hope in your kind understanding about that matter. With kind regards

Location, location, location
We stayed here for the second time so we expected two double rooms sharing kitchen and bathroom. This time there were 4(!) double rooms to share one bathroom and separate toilet. Fortunately they weren't fully occpied but still we had to wait from time to time to take a shower or to use the toilet. The soap run out after one day. Room service was every second day. The cleanliness of the room wasn't spotless. Planty of dust and hair under the table and in the corners. Fan in the room as a substitute for an air conditioning. Unable to sleep because of the heat. We rememberd the place as something better but offcourse the location is very convenient.

Great hotel, right next to the central bus station (perfect for us)! Just a 10ish minute walk to the Christmas Markets! Hotel is old but spotless (just beware of the super old school elevator! Or take the stairs). Thereception staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English.

Rezidence Davids is in the Florenc neighborhood of Prague which is in the outer periphery of the historic town. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the center of the old town. One can easily walk through the safe streets of Prague to get there but if you're feeling lazy you also have a metro right outside the hotel that you can take to get to the city. I stayed in a suite that was spacious, clean, had a nice bathroom. There was also a kitchenette which would be useful if one was staying for more than a couple days. There are a couple of good restaurants in the vicinity including a bar which serves the local fare. The staff are super friendly and very warm and hospitable. All in all, I would stay here if I were to return to Prague.

The apartment was clean, spacious and modern. There is pizza place, pub and testaurant with nice beers and traditional food on the same street. Underground station is couple of minutes down the road. The old town is very close, aroud 25 min walk.

We had an amazing check-in experience. The room was as described: well kept, basic kitchenette and private washroom. We appreciated having a room off the street, but overall it was quite quiet. We were able to leave our bags after checking out which was lovely.

Great stay at Rezidence Davids!
My friend and I had an amazing stay at Rezidence Davids. The staff at reception are friendly and professional, and they are there for most of the day. Our room was incredibly spacious and neat. Though the bathroom, shower, and kitchen are all shared with three other rooms, the amenities are kept very clean. There is not much going on in the surrounding area, but it is super close to the bus station and the Florenc metro station (a major stop). All in all, I would definitely recommend Rezidence Davids!
