A Brilliant Hotel

This is the only place we stay. It is close to everything, very comfortable, safe, quiet, clean, has everything you need. What you see in the advertisement is what you get.

A very welcoming hotel, with Benny at the bar being an absolute star! The facilities were modern, clean, and the location was excellent. My only minor complaint is that the rooms could be better designed to optimise space and accommodate luggage more effectively.

Our stay at the Radisson Blu Prague was amazing!! Even thought Expedia gave me a hard time with changing the date of my booking, when my sister and I arrived to the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful to open our booking again. They gave us a room on the top floor in the corner, so it was quiet and we had easy access to the beautiful roof top on the 9th floor. The gym is excellent, probably the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen. Housekeeping was 10/10! The ladies came in around 2pm everyday to clean and provide us with new sheets and towels. I believe one of the concierge’s name was Martin and he was kind enough to give us a map and circle all the tourist spots and restaurants in Prague that we’d like to go, and we were able to find our way around. Even though we ate breakfast once and that was when we were leaving to go back to the US, it was soooo good! Overall, staying at Radisson Blu Prague was wonderful and this will definitely be the hotel I stay at anytime I’m in Prague.

This was our second visit to Prague but our first visit to a Radisson Blu. We were very impressed. Our flight brought us in very early but the hotel were kindly able to accommodate us with an early check-in and this helped immensely with having a whole day ahead of us. Although we didn't have breakfast there, our travel companions did and they said it was an incredible breakfast buffet every morning which they would highly recommend. The hotel is located very centrally which makes it easy to get around to all of the main sites and attractions on foot. Thankfully it is just far enough away from the main square area so the nights were very quiet and peaceful.

The terrace suite was on the 7th floor but the elevator went only up to 6th floor. There was no mention of this at the time of booking. Also when checking in, staff didn’t mention that we would have to walk up one floor with luggage nor did they offer to help.

Lacking Attention to Detail

It was an average stay, the hotel felt a little tired and in need of updating. We had two family rooms, sadly one was not in a good state. The door handle to the children's room was not securely attached and fell off repeatedly, the overhead light around the window did not work and the TV was poorly hung on the retractable tv stand. When discussing this with the staff at check out one member of the concierge was quite rude about it. The room was not properly cleaned prior to arrival and the mirror to the bathroom was fairly dusty. But the extractor fans in the bathroom did not appear to work so perhaps that was the cause of the problem. I have stayed in a number of Radisson Blu hotels and sadly this one was not up to the standard I have come to expect from this chain. But the location was good for being central to be able to explore the city and the evening meal we had on our arrival was very nice - the waiting staff were very good.
