Hotel Taurus was a great hotel to stay at. Conveniently located close to the Metro line and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. The morning breakfast was terrific. I would definitely consider staying here again if I'm lucky enough to return to Prague.

Overall quite good. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast selection was excellent. Convenient location near metro station in a nice area. Wi-fi was not consistent, if working at all, in upper floor room (in breakfast area for example, it was good).

My room was small but enough for my purposes. Easy to use, very quiet, with lots of hot water. Breakfast buffet (included with room price) was better than some I have tried. Staff were highly multilingual and friendly. They are at the desk 24/7, so you can leave your door key at the desk when you go out on the town.

Very good hotel in good location
Hotel is in a good location, close enough to walk to Wenceslas square but also has a metro and tram stop close by. Rooms were good size and bathroom had a large walk in shower that was quite powerful. Quiet room so easy to sleep. Beds were comfortable but the only down side were the pillows for me. Staff were very efficient. Breakfast is very nice buffet style and staff were very quick to clean up and keep the buffet very well stocked.

The front desk staff was very considerate and helpful to contact the lost and found department in Prague because I left my backpack on a bus. The workers called a few different times and spoke with the dept. No backpack found, but at least I knew. .

The hotel was basic but clean. An excellent location! The staff during the day were helpful, the staff on reception less so, it even willing to find the basics such as teabags. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment.

Nice clean, good sized room and bathroom. Has basic amenities of TV, fridge, hairdryer and safe (think chargeable to use). Bed comfy & rooms cleaned daily and breakfast is good with quite a few options. No views but good location to get around Prague with metro just short walk and next to a lovely farmers market and some lovely bars and restaurants. Not far from the TV tower and a large shopping mall with a great food court. Would def recommend and will definitely revisit this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights in January and was impressed with it all. The room was spacious and clean and had a good, strong shower. The heating was effective and we were able to control it ourselves. The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety of hot and cold items: egg, sausage, toast, cereal, cheese, salami, fruit, pastries and apple strudel! We were able to leave our bags behind a locked door on the last day too. Convenient 5 mins walk to the green metro line. Has a good pub between the metro line and hotel called Beer Geek.

Hotel Taurus was perfectly located for my needs on my first trip to Prague. The staff was friendly and courteous. Our room was spacious but lacked a bathtub, only small shower. Otherwise it was a great hotel at a great value!

Excellent hotel , friendly staff, very clean and quiet , amazing location near shopping places , five minutes walking to Flora mall two minutes to Albert supermarket , five minutes walking to metro station and seven minutes to tram station , good place to walk around about 15 minutes walking to reach mustek the wonderful shopping streets and malls , I recommend it strongly for family , business and single trips .

Nice Hotel in Great Neighborhood
As several reviewers have pointed out, this is nowhere near a four star hotel. It's closer to a two star hotel but it's not bad. Barbora at the front desk was delightful and was super helpful at check in. The room itself was small but nicely decorated with newer bathrooms. Water pressure in the shower was great and the WIFI in the room worked with no problems. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff did a nice job keeping everything freshly stocked despite it being very busy. A few negatives: 1. The "old school" gigantic key was clunky to carry around (they recommended that I leave it at the front desk every time I leave the hotel but that wasn't very practical.) 2. The walls were super thin and I could hear everything going on in the room next to me. 3. Right outside my window there was work being done on the parking lot so it was really noisy. All in all, a good value for the money.

Hotel Taurus
I picked the Hotel Taurus as the base for my four night stay because it was near an event I was going to and also fairly close to where a friend of mine lived who I was going to be spending time with while I was in Prague. I asked for a room away from the road and was given one although a room right beside the car park on ground level was not what I had in mind. I didn't mind not having a view but I could not leave the window open without being there otherwise anyone could have entered the room. I didn't take advantage of the free breakfast every day but when I did it was good, sometimes things took a while to be replenished if they ran out though. And the number of tables isn't really adequate for the number of guests, it was always very busy and not always easy to find a table. There were some sofas by reception but it is a shame the hotel didn't have a proper bar area as it would have been nice to grab a drink and relax when getting back to the hotel rather than just going straight back to my room. The hotel has a tram stop and a metro station a couple of minutes away so is very convenient for public transport and there are a number of shops and restaurants nearby. I don't consider it a 4 star hotel though, not compared to other 4 star hotels I have stayed in before but it wouldn't stop me considering it the next time I am in the area.

Nice location and great breakfast
Excellent for what I needed, to shower and sleep. I was out most of the day exploring Prague. Location is between two metro stops and tram stops. Breakfast was great. Front desk and the breakfast girls were all nice.

The place is very well located, there is a supermarket on the other side of the street and the Underground is just a couple hundred meters away. The staff is also really friendly and the rooms are clean!

Absolutely horrible hotel which is not even good to be a 2 star and claims to be a 4 star. What a pity. Not sure if there is governing body in Czech Republic which rates hotels. Broken furniture, torned chair covers, broken and dirty electric kettle, refrigerator in minibar doesn’t work.

How this hotel get 4 stars? Unbelievable.
No way to sleep without air conditioning and, if I open window, it’s too noisy. Terrible experience! If I ask for a quiet room not facing to street, no way. It’s always fully booked even I could see vacancy in this app.
