Need a car to travel around. Far from city center. Clean and tidy. But the outside of building very dark at night and don't feel safe.

Plus points for the parking, the elevator, kitchen was ok, staff was nice. Minus points: - curtains way too bright and let too much heat in for sleep - floor was a bit dirty - bathroom smelled a bit moldy

It wasn't like in the photos.

We arrived late to the apartment, and the instructions to enter the apartment were clear. The condition of the room was not as we expected and did not match with the photos on the website. The furniture and especially the floor were worn out. The floor was sticky, and we couldn't walk barefoot because they would become dirty and sticky afterward. The table in the room was very sticky like something had been poured on it. Some spots on the floor were also very sticky. The bathroom was small but functioned well, including hot water, but it did not look like it did in the photos. The bathroom door could not be closed. The heaters were working perfectly. The towels looked clean, but there were pieces of hair on them. The bed was okay, and the kitchen was working as expected. The apartments are located in an ideal spot, at least for us. You can take the tram 22 or 23 towards the city or to a connecting bus 191 to the airport. 3 or 4 stops to the Prague Castle. The worn-out condition of the apartment came as a surprise, and the poor cleanliness disappointed us. We initially felt unappealing about staying in the place, but we managed. Otherwise, it would have been a pleasant stay because of its convenient location.

Saubere Unterkunft, Appartement in sehr gutem Zustand. Personal an Rezeption freundlich. Die Lage ist 1A, nur wenige Minuten bis zur Tramhaltestelle, in Gehdistanz zur Burg und 20 Minuten bis in die Altstadt.

A Great Home Base for our Prague Visit

Apartments Praha 6 is located on a fast, convent tram line about 5 minutes from Prague Castle or 10 minutes from downtown. All suites are served by an elevator, but you must climb five steps to get into the building, so not wheelchair accessible. The office is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and there is a lock box for pre-arranged late arrivals. Our suite was large and comfortable. The office staff were very friendly and helpful, providing maps, tourist information and tips on using the tram. A convenience store a block away sold everything a for our self-catered vacation; fresh and frozen food, most "dollar store" items, beer and wine, and tram tickets. The trams are very inexpensive, but there is a big fine if you don't buy your ticket in advance and validate it when you first board. If you are driving a rented car into Prague for your visit, the Apartment Praha6 has safe off street parking in a rear courtyard. Leave the car there during your visit, though. Downtown parking is scarce and expensive, and the tram is much easier.
