"We used the breakfast bar and the restaurant the first day. Both were convenient to have, but easy to replace once we explored our nearby options. The Metro was close and we used the shuttle. However leave yourself plenty of time as the shuttle can get backed up during busy hours. We would definitely use the Melia again."

"I was put in a ground level room which I was not thrilled about, with twin beds pushed together. I know this is common in Europe, but would have preferred a double. The worst part about the stay however was the overpowering perfume smell that follows you from the lobby to the room. Otherwise the price was reasonable for a hotel room that was literally a 6 minute walk from the front door to the check-in line. The breakfast bar opens at 2am which is a nice touch for travelers. "Clean room, modern building. Close to the airport and to a metro station. Also just a short walk to the large Oriente train / Metro station where we took a train to Sintra. Clean quiet room, friendly and helpful staff. We had to leave early so didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, which does cost extra "
