"What a great retreat/hide away! We are still flashed by this lovely place. Here you can perfectly relax. The rooms are awesome and everywhere you could find small little details that underline the great concept of this facility. The best thing was the magnificent breakfast, which was was prepared with perfection and passion every single morning by Christina and Vivian. You are the best!! "The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but the amenities of the hotel were what sold us, however the sauna and hot tub were not available, nor were options to look at any of the farm to table process that the website mentions. Room temperature is controlled by staff and our room was HOT! We had asked that it be set cooler but that did not happen so it was hard to get to sleep. With all of that said, the pool area was lovely! The breakfast was incredible and the staff are very lovely."

"Lovely family stay! We had a wonderful stay at Quinta dos Perfumes. The room was spacious and the bed was big enough for the two of us and our 2-year-old. We loved the beautiful swimming pools surrounded by orange trees, and the bikes with a child seat were a great touch — we enjoyed cycling to the nearby town. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the fresh orange juice was a must! 🍊 All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Elizabeth, who was very nice and helpful to us...

"Our stay at Casa do Rio was exceptional. There are 10 rooms with stunning views of the Douro River and vineyards. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and we were welcomed with a plate of fresh figs and white port and all ingredients to make portonics. The grounds are lovely with an infinity pool overlooking the river and two semi private fresh water dunking pools. The food and was outstanding! We made our dinner selections earlier in the day and were treated to an exquisite...

"The perfect hotel for myself and partner. Staff were incredible, breakfast was amazing. The hotel has a history and continues to produce wine and grow fruits. The pool and jacuzzi have a fantastic view over camara de lobos, which is about a 20 minute walk down the hill. We walked back up twice but a taxi is a good option for getting back. Thank you to the staff who looked after us, we'd love to return."
