"The vineyard is truly beautiful. The scenery is outstanding and really adds the the luxurious feeling of this hotel. The bed was enormous, it was like having a whole double bed each. The food selection on breakfast and evening was good and not overly expensive. The only complaint would be the wait time on drinks by the pool, there was only one staff member to make drinks and sort food orders so we were often waiting a long time for drinks. "Nous avons été reçu très bien. Excellent endroit, personnel affable, disponible et discret. S'il y a difficultés, la Direction de l'établissement prend action rapidement. Calme et que dire de la vue... OUFF !! Cet endroit est un véritable bijou. Je dois dire que c'est tout simplement parfait comme lieu."

"Beautiful, comfortable and clean accommodations with a stunning view of the Douro River! Excellent pool overlooking the river and valley. The staff were all so friendly, kind and helpful. It was an absolute delight to stay here, I would highly recommend Quinta da Marka and hope I can make it back there someday! "

"The property was lovely. Soon as get through the gates you are greeted by a path with a beautiful arch, surrounded by nature. As you go towards the accommodation you see gorgeous lemons and oranges bearing fruit. Me and my partner was lucky enough to try there freshly squeezed juice at breakfast, smooth and delicious. Breakfast had good variety, vegan and vegetarian options. 9/10"

"Un paysage paradisiaque et intime. Très petite Quinta, avec 7 chambres et une magnifique piscine. Rien n'est compliqué. Pas d'heure restrictive pour la piscine. Service de petit déjeuner et lavage de linge. Parfait pour relaxer dans une ambiance reposante et magnifique !"

"Such a beautiful hotel and staff. The restaurant is incredible. Had a peaceful few days here as solo traveller. The area is quite remote. As expected but can walk to the beach in about 30 minutes but Ubers are really easy and available to get about also. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.. only tiny thing that let this place down was no fridge in the room to store water or fruits etc. overall though amazing stay if looking for a peaceful quiet retreat and excellent food! "

"This was, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The walkway was ancient, rundown, and felt downright unsafe. The rooms? Beyond outdated—borderline uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the lift was old, creaky, and felt incredibly unsafe. How this hotel ever received a rating of 8.0 is beyond comprehension. It’s shocking and unacceptable that Hotel.com would allow such a misleading rating to stand. I trusted your platform to guide me toward quality stays, but this was a complete disaster. You seriously let me down this time. Immediate action is needed—both for your customers and your credibility. I’m reconsidering ever using Hotel.com again after this debacle"
