We picked this property specifically because they offered a shuttle in a 10 mile radius according to Expedia website. We intended to use this to get to the downtown area of Portsmouth. Upon check-in, we were told they no longer have a shuttle. When I went to the room, I discovered the king bed I paid for 8 months ago was instead two double beds with no couch. The front desk staff was very sweet and explained if booked on Expedia, there is no guarantee and that Marriott members have priority over room selection. 30 minutes later, they were able to put us in the room we booked. If I come back to the area, I’ll stay downtown since I will now have to pay for parking or an Uber to go there now.
