"Car parking good staff friendly Bar not so good as expensive and closed early on a Saturday Room was poor,windows dirty and pain was all white as gas has blown and did not shut so cold through the night "

"The staff were efficient and professional. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast staff were rushed off their feet and it was obvious that more staff were needed as tables were stacked with used crockery and the breakfast items ran out in several areas. Not the fault of the staff on duty but the issue of needing more staff. I would also have preferred not to have to pay for parking albeit reduced."

"The bar staff need some serious training, terrible service on Saturday evening , staff looked like university students clueless and zero customer service The room was ok, lots of fluff and dust under the bed, no I didn't deliberately check, I dropped something and saw it, the shower cubicle needs a good scrub too! And no fridge in the room!"

"Perfect for a one night stop over. No frills, small room but the price reflected this. Free parking which was an unexpected bonus and handy location near a retail park and a large supermarket."

"Property was clean and as a family we felt safe staying there. Room was a nice size and our stay there was good. The parking outside was often difficult to find spaces and due to permit holder restrictions 4:30pm-6:30pm you have to lose your space every day you stay. If you have a large vehicle you need to park I would not recommend any accomodation in this area. Not the fault of the owner though and if you don't require parking for a large vehicle it's a fine accomodation."

"On approach of the Portsmouth Inn budget hotel it did look a bit off putting by all the wiring and stuff by the door but, as I found out when you go inside everything is nice and clean. there is nobody there to welcome you. Room was clean and bed comfortable..all ok BUT for I requested a quieter room as a light sleeper and all ok until evening when pub/club opposite the room started blasting music to 12. Disappointed that no regard was made to my request and no suggestion of a problem with the request until I was experiencing it."
