We loved our stay in Porto here. It is right near the river walk but not very noisy. The hotel has a lot of character while being modern. The rooftop pool and lounge area is lovely with a view of the river.

This is an excellent boutique hotel! Close to all the interesting sights and restaurants in Porto. The room was comfortable and big, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the amenities were excellent! There was a restaurant on site for breakfast and a nice pool area to relax in. Will definitely come back here!

We stayed here early August and had the best time, the hotel is lovely and in a good location close to many restaurants and is right next to the river which is nice. Worth noting that as you are by the river everything else is an uphill walk but Ubers are cheap if that is a problem. Would recommend if you want a nice boutique place to stay in a cool city!

Location was even better than I expected. The rooms were very modern and sparkling clean. The room amenities (refrigerator, stove, coffee set up, etc.) were great. The pool area offered a nice place to unwind in the evenings. Breakfast was nice as well.

It was a very nice hotel, room was really good. And they had a nice little swimming pool on the roof. Unfortnatly the bar was closed, we fixed that by buying some water and chips and took the port from our room.👌

Spent a week here with the family in two rooms, one twin, one double. This is a very small hotel with about 16 rooms, a tiny reception and an adjoining restaurant. That was quite upscale (€16 per head for breakfast) so we didn’t try it. The hotel checked all the important boxes: - clean and safe - comfortable bed with usable pillows - quiet (for being so central) - friendly, helpful reception staff - the small pool was a really nice extra. Both our rooms had small kitchenettes which turned out to be a really useful bonus as it allowed us to make our own breakfasts. Equipped with not much more than a small hob, a microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, and minimal cutlery and crockery. It turned out to have everything we needed except a kitchen knife. Negotiating the loan of one from the adjoining restaurant was a bit more difficult than it needed to be IMO and took the edge off otherwise friendly and helpful service. The location, right on the river and within easy walking distance of the center, is absolutely excellent.

The rooms are really lovely, aircon worked very well and kept lovely and clean thanks to the housekeeping team. Unfortunately we had an issue with access to our room when returning from dinner and finding the out of hours telephone service not operational. We managed to get in after contacting a different hotel up the street however it took a while to solve. The hotel pool bar was closed for the duration of our stay, and we weren’t allowed to take up drinks from the attached restaurant which was also disappointing given it was high season.

Don’t waste your money

Would really not recommend this place. Got the wrong room upon check-in (worse, with no balcony), and a “15% discount for the hassle”, though that’s not a discount, that’s just paying for the less nice room! The room we then got was the only room on the floor, next to the cleaning station, meaning we’d hear the cleaning staff early in the morning, singing with their trolleys (super cute, just not a 6am on a vacation). The room was nice, though not done… no coat hangers, no towel rack, no closet (only some small drawers and 5 hangers), no charging by the bed, coffee machine was out of order and there was visible mold in the bathroom. The pool area was poorly maintained; chairs and tables were very dusty, no sun beds, etc. The pool bar looked nice, though closed at all times, even though it was around 30 degrees most days of our 5 night stay. In all fairness, the staff really did try their best to accommodate a nice stay, it just appeared the hands were tied in many ways, by management.

This place is amazing. Nice old European vibe with a very modern, clean atmosphere. I would absolutely stay again. Everything is in walking distance and the staff were so nice and accommodating. Only one thing I would change is the bathroom sink was automatic and shut off too easily when trying to brush my teeth or wash my face. But that is it and it would not keep me from coming back. Wonderful place!!

True gem in Porto

This small hotel is a true gem. Amazing staff, always friendly and willing to help at any time with anything. Exceptionally family friendly. Swimming pool is rather small but extremely pleasant to dip in any time of the day. Overall, very tasteful design and super clean. Very nice restaurant too—dined thee times and each time was exceptional. Think that breakfast is a bit overpriced, especially given multiple bakeries in the area with exceptional offer. All in all, it’s one of those places one want’s to keep hidden forever.

Good Location-Decent Value

Getting to this hotel just using maps was a bit difficult, being unfamiliar with the city. I wish there had been some sort of instructions to help navigate the very narrow and hilly Porto streets. The setup in the hotel is unconventional, with us having to take 2 elevators to get to our room, which was a bit inconvenient. The room was good, great condition very clean with a nice bathroom. Our heat had troubles so we were a bit cold for the first night. There is no parking so had to park across the street for 80 euros for 3 days. Staff was accommodating.

This is the absolute worst hotel we have attempted to stay in. The hotel lacked staff with only one person working that was a waiter at the restaurant next door that had to be pulled away to check us in. Upon check in the room was hot! The air conditioner was not working and they were not able to fix or provide another room. We had to leave and book another hotel. They refused a refund for a room we did not even stay in! I strongly recommend booking elsewhere in Porto there are much nicer more accommodating hotels for a lot less money. This hotel looked nothing like the pictures. SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Not as advertised

We had booked 2 family style rooms for our 3-night stay, based on the gorgeous pictures online, and had requested that the rooms be close together. The response from the hotel was that the rooms would be on different floors, but nearby, because it's a small hotel. Well, its actually 2 different hotels, connected by a walkway on the 3rd floor. One room was on the 2nd floor of the main building, and the other room was in the basement of the other building. To get from one building to the other, you take the elevator up to the 3rd floor, walk across, and then take the elevator down! that is definitely not "close by". Secondly the basement room was appalling. the windows are so high that you cannot see through them. The room is nothing like what is shown online. I have attached pictures. But it ruined the vibe of our trip. Not only that, the hot water didn't last for more than one shower, and the bathroom sink had a defective sensor, so we had to go into the kitchen area to wash our hands and brush our teeth. The staff were nice enough, but weren't able to fix our problems, and we didn't get the room we had actually requested until the 3rd night... super frustrating as we had to pack up and move.... just overall not a great experience. They only have 3 "family style" rooms, plus this basement "family-style" room. They know that the pictures of this room aren't online, at hotels.com or their own website. They don't care. And once you're there what the hell are you going to do?!
