Poor bathroom conditions. Hot water and cool water from two isolated sources on the sink. Toilet cover had a crack that pinched guest’s skin. Using the shower in the narrow tub floods the bathroom. Breakfast was not included although it was supposed to be, according to reservation. Blanket was heavy and dusty.

Damp sheets and gloomy room

1) We booked the Lagar double room for one night. On arrival we reported the sheets felt damp and these were changed. The room was dark and gloomy despite the bright August day. Coming back to the room late at night we found the new sheets were damp - absorbing the damp from the room. There is no ventilation in the ensuite and this may not help. As it was too late to go elsewhere we slept in the car. In the morning, the manager was not sympathetic and just said the house is old and cold. We are used to staying in old houses but that doesn't mean the rooms are damp. Maybe the other accommodation at the hotel is better. 2) Some of the wiring in the bedroom looked dodgy. 3) The two bedside lamps did not work. 4) The pool looked dirty - you could not see the bottom. 5) On checking out we were told payment was cash only and when we asked for a receipt we were told this would be sent by email. This has not yet arrived.

Serene and beautiful location

We stayed here 2 nights during our visit in Portugal. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. I will start with the problems: there was no heat other than a wood fireplace and a couple of small portable heaters. The first night the hot water heater stopped working. Our hostess, Fernanda was very quick to respond to the hot water issue. Other than these 2 items, we enjoyed our stay very, very much. The units are mostly in little separate buildings in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful semi-rural setting. There is a small river that courses through the property. There are hills covered with trees that rise above. Fernanda was very responsive and kind to us. One morning she dropped off some fresh Easter bread that was warm and tasty. She also let us pick oranges from the many orange trees on the land. If we return to the this region of Portugal again, we will definitely see if this hotel has an available unit.

una pasqua meravigliosa

In Vacanza per Pasqua siamo giunti tardissimo (alle 22 circa) ma siamo stati accolti come dei familiari; Non solo ci hanno fatto accomodare facendoci trovare il camino acceso e annullando il ns disagio per il ritardo ma ci hanno anche chiesto se avessimo cenato e non appena constatato che non lo avevamo fatto ci hanno portato una zuppa di pesce meravigliosa accompagnata da pane, vino e da pandolce. tutto ciò senza che gli chiedessimo niente e senza che ci fosse addebitato neanche un centesimo in più né per il ritardo (come previsto in molte altre location) ne tanto meno per la cena! Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni fantastici immersi in una location storica e bellissima circondati da pace e tranquillità ed a soli 10 minuti di macchina dal Santuario di Fatima. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!

Paraiso tão perto de Lisboa

Adorámos! Quarto muito limpo e já com a lareira acesa, são muito simpáticas, o sitio é fenomenal, gostamos imenso da cascata, o sossego, ouvir os passarinhos pela manhã, ideal para uma escapadinha do stress. Um sitio a voltar, sem duvida! Mas desta vez com as nossas crianças

Un lugar maravilloso, no se arrepentiran de elgir

La mejor opcion para los visitantes de Fatima y la zona que no quieran pagar locuras para estar cerca del santuario y disfrutar un maravilloso entorno, hermosas comodidades y unas anfitrionas unicas, no tienen mas que elegir esta hermosa Quinta. Agradecemos especialmente a Bertha quien nos acompaño gran parte de nuestra estadia recomendano lugares hermosos y llevandonos a Fatima. Inmejorable estadia.
