Melhorias urgentes

Os funcionários são simpáticos a única coisa positiva. Fiz uma reserva para três adultos e puseram 2 camas e mais uma cama extra onde a grossura do colchão não tinha um palmo. Horrível mesmo, reclamei e a simpatia do funcionário levou mais um colchão igual para colocar em cima do outro. Quarto sem ar condicionado. A água que sai das torneiras é completamente castanha. Casa a precisar de uma grande renovação.

An der Sauberkeit gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Allerdings sind die Appartements in die Jahre gekommen was sich an Sanitäranlagen und Mobiliar bemerkbar macht.

Behov av renovering. Kylen var gammal och lät väldigt mycket. Hårda, obekväma och smala sängar som som knarrade, skulle snarare kalla dem britsar. Toaletten spolade även ner golvet trots att toalettlocket var på.

Room 1131

I can only give a review of the above room and the left hand side of the complex which was extremely quiet from the time that we were there which was 2nd - 12th October 2016. Hardly anyone at the pool, the restaurant closed at 10.30pm but was open for breakfast at 8.30am but a pint of beer will cost you 3 euros as opposed to The Venue in Alvor which is 0,90 cents, which also has free wifi and great food if you want a salad. I can't comment on the bar as it was inside and seemed full of children playing pool. Back to the review, no cleaning of the apartments on a Tuesday or a Thursday (remember our time of visiting). As we were on the third floor it was 48 steps to the apartment and there are no lifts. However there is a small patio off the kitchen, a medium sized patio off the lounge and an extremely large patio, more like a roof terrace off the hallway. In fact the brochure given to you on arrival, the front picture of the sea is taken from this room. Excellent views apart from looking down which had an abandoned flapping greenhouse/tunnel which was not pleasant to look at and also being on the main road and right by the roundabout, it was quite noisy at times. In the kitchen, please, please, please BEWARE of the HOT WATER. It is instantaneous and will burn if you are not careful enough to ensure that it is turned to cold at all times when not in use. Children should not be allowed to use this as it is BOILING and I can't emphasise this enough, it is dangerous.

We had a lovely 8 night stay in Clube Alvorferias. I booked a 1 bedroom apartment for my husband and I, with request for a cot for our 2 year old daughter. We arrived late at night, tired after our travels. Check-in was quick, smooth and efficient. We happily discovered that we had been given a 2 bedroom apartment, with the cot all set up. It was spacious and clean. There were 2 bathrooms also, one with shower, one with bath. We were above the Spar shop which was very convenient. Free parking for our rental car, and always plenty of spaces available. The area was quiet, 20 min downhill walk into town. Pool area looked nice, although we spent our days at the beach. The apartment itself was cleaned regularly, however I would have liked more frequent changes of bedsheets (never changed during our stay) and towels (changed once). Overall for the price we paid I think these apartments are great value and we would happily stay here again.

Good if you can get a special deal (£30 a night)

Stayed 6 nights,booked last minute so got a good deal. Rooms are a bit dated but were clean and roomy. All u need for self catering,there clean witn regular turn downs. Only cons, we never managed to get connected to internet and you need to pay €30 for safe lock 15 of which u get back as deposit. One other thing, pools were very busy and noisy with kids,not ideal if you just want to lay by the pool and relax, we ended up going to beach (15 min walk).
