"This is nowhere near what a 4 star hotel should be. Its a 3 star hotel at best. The iron and iron board provided was absolutely terrible. Simply does not iron. Iron not hot enough. The board is not padded and is dirty as anything so its like sliding a lukewarm iron across a dirty grill. The pool is ancient. Not because of its greek theme design but just outdated by few decades. Water pressure in all showers both at pool and room is very poor. I must say the staff were all very nice though."

"Bed was very uncomfortable! Lights from front shone through the curtains all night. Fridge made a noise all night as well as guests coming and going and slamming doors! No dogs allowed in the bar though it's a dog friendly hotel.. restaurant closed at 8.30 and didn't have breakfast there. £10 extra for the dog to stay!"

"Eccellent staff always helpful, room was always kept clean, we had to request more heat for the room and that was attended too. the buffet breakfast had a good choice of food although for the eater that did not take much it could be an expensive breakfast. Dinner in the Cruise restaurant was vey good but menu was the same every night. Waiting staff were always very helpful. On arrival the television was faulty but this was rectified the same day. Although the weather varied we did enjoy our stay."

"Must have been given the worst room in the property overlooking a wall and air conditioning units at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the restaurant awful “view”, and noisy. Have to book to use the spa which i did on arrival only to be told when i went there that there is a £25 fee per person per day to use it, even if you just want the pool! Needless to say facility was not used but they still tried to bill me saying there was a cancellation fee and a manager will have to agree not to charge….Discussed with receptionist who says all third party booking sites mention there is a fee and upon trawling the site this can be found in fees and policies. Level of advertising the spa facility on the site and not to mention the fee is akin to the hiding of commission in the car finance scandal, it’s mentioned, but only if you go searching. No guest directory or room service menu in room. Mentioned to receptionist who says she would order room service for me. Had to point out again I had no menu. Provided with menu so back to room to choose. Tried to order from room, phone not working. Back to reception who placed the order. Food overpriced and when came to check out have been overcharged for the price that was on the menu but was too incensed by being charged for the spa paid & left. Room cup chipped. Breakfast, 1st day eggs benedict, disappointment continued. 3rd day Scottish breakfast, lovely. Yipee! Restaurant staff lovely & a nice view. Good towels, nice shower."
