"We received great instructions from Amina on how to access the room which were easy to follow. If arriving in the day, the ground floor is where a lovely flower shop is, then up a lift. There are then 9 easy steps down to where the room is located. This was our 4th stop on our trip and by far the best room. Although in the centre of everything, the room is super quiet, modern, with a lovely-sized bathroom & powerful shower and great WiFi. We would highly recommend and will definitely return...

"An absolute little gem in Siena! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sara and Carolina were fantastic from start to finish. They couldn’t do enough for us. They let us know exactly where to park, which was really helpful as Siena has traffic restrictions for visitors, helped us book a winery tour and gave us some great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. The communication was brilliant and they made everything so easy for us. The hotel itself is lovely, in a perfect location, beautifully restored and spotlessly clean. They even provided a little breakfast free of charge, which was a lovely touch. If you’re looking for somewhere special to stay in Siena, with loads of charm and a personal touch rather than a big hotel chain, this is the place! We honestly couldn’t fault it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Il Chiostro del Carmine. The hotel is definitely a little older, but that was part of the charm for us. Staying inside a former monastery gave the property so much character and made it feel completely different from a typical hotel. The location was also excellent. It sits just outside the busiest part of Siena, but we were still within about a 10-minute walk of pretty much everything we wanted to see or do. The atmosphere was peaceful, the setting was unique, and it fit Siena perfectly. If you prefer hotels with history and character over ultra-modern ones, this is a great place to stay."

Still no view of the countryside but you can see that from the terrace. The one thing we missed was a coffee and tea making facilities in the bedroom. The breakfast was lovely but nothing hot - traditional continental."
