Carriage Ridge Resort, an Ascend Collection Resort
8/10 Good
"Room wasn’t bad at all, however in the bathroom on the floor it was full of hair, long hair, short curly little hairs, all over the floor. The surface areas were not dusted, the sink faucets were dirty. The cleaning wasn’t great, (I’m a professional cleaner), and was disappointed in the cleanliness. But otherwise, it was a nice getaway, the room was nice. There were other guests who were partying a bit and loud later on but quieted down eventually. I would stay here again, I just might say something next time if the room is not cleaned properly."
"My wife and I stayed at this hotel for five full days in August 2026, and we were very happy with our stay.
Our room was clean and comfortable, with good beds, quiet and efficient air conditioning, and a lovely bathroom. The staff was polite, attentive, and always quick to respond to our requests.
The breakfast was also quite good, although the selection was somewhat limited.
The hotel is clearly an older building, and there is no elevator, but with only two floors this was not a problem for us. It also seems to have been renovated fairly recently, so it felt clean and well maintained rather than dated.
Overall, we were very pleased. For a very reasonable price, we received much more comfort and service than we had expected. We would be happy to stay here again."
"Good experience overall. The rooms are neat, clean, and very spacious, although the aesthetic look and exterior could be improved.
They have rooms of different sizes and can accommodate additional guests on request for around $10 per person. I found this particularly useful for families or larger groups, especially because the rooms offer plenty of space. And have kitchen in every room.
I stayed with my family of four in a spacious unit with one bedroom containing two queen-size beds, plus a single bed and a sofa in the living room. Based on the available space and sleeping arrangements, this room could comfortably accommodate a larger family or group—potentially up to 6 adults and 2 kids if the kids share beds with adults.
I also had a chance to see one of their larger three-bedroom units, which can accommodate up to 12 people.
Overall, this is a very practical and good-value option for families and groups looking for spacious accommodation. Improving the aesthetics and exterior
would make the experience even better."
