"Excellent for a one night stop before flight. Beautiful apartments set into the hillside overlooking Souda Bay. Incredibly modern, new and super clean. Very spacious rooms, equipped with all the essentials and also outstanding views. Staff are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was an issue for them. The receptionist was incredibly accommodating with my requests and really lovely to deal with. Wonderful small pool area which again, has an incredible view of Souda bay and the mountains. Well...

"Just got back from one of the best weeks holiday my family and I have had. We were greeted on arrival by the wonderful staff with a welcome drink and the warmest of welcomes. A quick and easy check in, including a small history of the hotel being having used to have been the French Consulate. Shown up to our room and guided on the hotel and the rooms controls, we felt relaxed straight away. "I had a sea view suite on the harbor which is beautiful! The staff are 100% accommodating and lovely. No elevator at this hotel so must be able bodied. That’s true of much of Greece. "

"This hotel was really special (the online pictures do not capture how great the property is). We had the larger room for our family of 4 and it was really great. The staff was extremely attentive and the breakfast was lovely (an excessive amount of food and lattes were offered!!). They even offer to bring the breakfast to your room if you prefer. They directed me to a free public lot for parking which was about a 7 minute walk. We would absolutely stay here again."

"My husband and I loved this hotel! It was super modern, the breakfast each morning was amazing, and the staff was so nice. The hotel has free underground parking which is a perk. The location was great - away from the crowded city center. Having a private pool was very nice and relaxing with great views. The room was so clean and very tasteful. We enjoyed our stay and will gladly return! "

"Amazing property and lovely owner. The aircon wasn’t working properly the first night so we told him in the morning and it was fixed by the time we came back from our day at the beach, plus he had given us a fan! Incredible service. Apartment is gorgeous and the view is great. Location in Chania could not be better with loads of restaurants, bars and shops on our doorstep but very little noise heard inside. "

"We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either....

"Sehr gute Lage direkt in der Altstadt von Chania. Die Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet und relativ neu renoviert und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Servicekraft, welche täglich das Zimmer säubert, ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend."

"Giorgos was a great host and made our stay amazing! He was very responsive and checked in with us via message throughout our stay! The location of the property is in the heart of it all, making walking everywhere so easy! Giorgos provided us with many recommendations for food, villages and beaches and they did not disappoint! The place was very clean and was exactly as advertised! I would definitely stay here again :) "
