"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"The view from the property overlooking the sea was beautiful and phenomenal. The room space was sufficient and clean. What I didn’t like was the fact that to get there, the drive up to the house was very steep and if you don’t know how to handle the drive, it’s problematic. The second thing I didn’t like was that while the property boasted about having a pool, it was only when me and my family arrived we were informed that the pool wasn’t working due to not filtering properly. "Enchanting! This is a beautiful unique property with stunning views and magnificent gardens - a real labour of Love. Staff are delightful, welcoming & helpful, the food fresh & delicious - we were extremely well looked after! Like other hotels & restaurants outside of Montego Bay & Kingston, advance booking is required for meal service but this was no bother to us. The villas are comfortable, well designed & built, authentic to their era which only adds to the charming, mystical atmosphere. A true slice of Heaven for nature lovers like us! Our mistake was to only book a few nights .... we will return every year if we can. "
