"The room was ready for my early arrival. It was clean and comfortable. I had a jacuzzi room, but the jacuzzi didn't when. However, it was great to relax in a large tub. Pool was clean and refreshing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will continue to stay here."

"The property was nice until we got into our room. The TV did not work correctly. The bathroom door looked like it had been in a flood and was almost molded and warped on the bottom. Long black hairs in the shower. Air conditioner was super loud. The Starbucks was never open when it was supposed to be. It was our first time in SPI....the island itself is beautiful but do not stay here. Spend your $$ elsewhere."

"First of all, in the promotion picture there is a nice swimming pool, it's a lie, there is no swimming pool, and on my stay I never got a cleaning service, I had to go to front desk because the phone in the room was not in service, their answer was that I have to let them know that I need that service per day (no one told me about it in the check in), then the rooms are very basics, the first day no soap, and the bathroom fan extractor was not working, I would give it motel category in furniture and everything inside the room, but the worst, very worst of everything was that every single day there was drunk people out of their rooms and Friday and Saturday even worse, and some people listening music in their cars (of course, totally drunks) very loud at 1, 2, 3 am, not easy to get a good rest, and seems like the hotel administration is totally fine with that because they do nothing with the situation.....NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE !!, I got the room because I book late and everything else was too expensive, but I regretted...Best way is to book with some time in a branded hotel where you get ok service and at least you can rest comfortably, sometimes is better to expense a couple more hundreds but to enjoy your stay"

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo and it was nice sized. Had everything we needed. My only complaint was not being able to keep it cool and I think it is just hard to do in such a humid environment. But the resort was beautiful and we had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend."

"Awful! Our AC leaked water all over the tile, the deadbolt on our door didn’t lock. Jeanette at the front desk was incredibly rude after we contacted Expedia. She told us she sent maintenance up, w/o even asking our concerns. He then came in, drilled the door, vacuumed out the AC, and left. He didn’t speak English, so we weren’t sure the next steps. Front desk never followed up. AC continued to leak for remainder of our stay. We had to lay towels down. Water leaking on a tile floor equals lots of slipping hazards. We tried to leave the property, but Expedia and the hotel refused to refund us. Sending a maintenance man to the room w/o even confirming our concerns, not being able to communicate AND no follow up from Jeanette was insane. Our stay was awful! Awful! We would still like to be compensated for our awful experience. (Additionally our bathroom shower was disgusting, advertisement of bar and grill is incredibly inaccurate given the small pizza shop, and most staff was not friendly) I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone!"

"Overall, my stay was okay, but it was disappointing compared to what was advertised. The pictures online made the resort look much nicer than it actually was. Upon arrival, it felt like a completely different property, which came across as a bait-and-switch situation. The resort was under construction/remodeling during my stay, and that created several issues. I had to be moved from one room to another, the elevator frequently had problems and even got stuck, and the room key cards often did not work properly. The bright spot of the experience was the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful. Housekeeping did an excellent job and was one of the best parts of my stay. While the customer service was great, the overall condition and appearance of the resort did not match the expectations set by the photos. I hope that once the renovations are completed, the property will better reflect what is being advertised."
