"Really lovely stay and a great surprise. The room was much bigger than we expected and we were really pleased to find that the kids effectively had their own little room within our room, with really good-sized bunk beds. It made such a difference travelling as a family and everyone had plenty of space. The staff were absolutely outstanding, genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and really added to our stay. The room was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and, oddly important after a long day, the TV was simple to use without having to fight with it! One useful update is that the hotel does now have an alcohol licence, despite some of the information we received beforehand suggesting otherwise, so drinks are available from the bar added bonus. We were only there for one night but were genuinely impressed. It was excellent value for a family room and we would very happily stay again."

"Very friendly staff, showed me to my room and made sure I was aware of which doors would be closed at which times and where everything was. The room was cosy and comfortable. I had a texmex grill for dinner in the pub which was delicious, and the breakfast which was included in the price of the room was also extremely tasty with a great range of options available.
