We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Nautilus Holiday Apartments. Communication with the property managers was excellent at all times, and they were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, providing lots of information about Port Douglas and surrounds at check in. The 3 BR apartment was well equipped and very comfortable. We would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending Nautilus Apartments to others.

The place felt like a home away from home. The apartment was really spacious, the kitchen was fully equipped and newly refurbished. The rooms were big and clean. The environment was very family friendly. The pool was on one side of the apartment blocks, so that there was no noise coming to our apartment. The trees made us feel we were in the middle of the jungle. The amenities truly surprised us and very family friendly, there was just the little things that made it perfect; plastic plates & cutleries, a toddler toys, a step stool... things like that you never thought you needed. The place was walking distance to the city centre, or as manager Mick said "800m to town centre to be precise". I would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious apartment. Kids loved the pool. It was approximately a 10 minute walk to Macrossan St but we enjoyed the walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay.

This is a very pleasant place to stay, within walking distance of the beach and shops and restaurants. The managers are both friendly and accommodating. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. It was rather dated but the bathrooms had been renovated. Sitting on the balcony was spoilt by the cigarette smoke wafting up from the balcony below. The pool area was well equipped and the pool lovely to swim in.

Property was very clean. Utensils in kitchen were very clean. The only issue was that filter in the washing machine was very dirty so we refrained from using it. Looked like dryer was not working either.

The apartments where close to the centre of town and the beach. Walking very comfortable to both. Parking at Coles car park was good if you had a car. The people running the apartments were very helpful and good do enough to help.

Lovely Apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Nautilus. Our room was very spacious, clean & had everything we needed! Mick was very helpful if we needed anything. The only thing I would mention is that the swimming pool was heated (which I tend not to like) and there were heaps of mozzies around, especially on the balcony at night (raid & mozzie coils were available).

Felt like home

My family and I had a great time here. They had pool toys for the kids to play with and also buckets and spades to take to the beach. The place was very clean. Location was close to everything. Mick and Sue were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We will be coming back again.

Lovely apartments close to the beach

We had a 3 bedroom apartment which was just right for the 5 of us. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Mick and Sue were great hosts and provided lots of advice recommendations for our trips. It was about a 10 minute walk to the centre of Port Douglas and the marina and about 5 minutes to the beach so very handy to all amenities. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting Port Douglas.

Huge apartment close to the beach

We made a last minute booking for a huge three bedroom two bathroom apartment. Fully equipped kitchen/ dining/ laundry. Walking distance to town and beautiful 4 mile beach. Nice pool. Off street parking. Friendly and informative hosts. Great for our young family.

Lovely resort

We were very lucky and got upgraded. Lovely big room and friendly staff. Good location , close to the beach and only about 15 mins to walk in to town. Would definitely stay here again. We had a fantastic time.
