"Lovely hotel which was very comfortable and right up our street. We only had breakfast which was plentiful and very nice. The best bit for us was the location of the hotel which was just fab -walks from the door and a couple of pubs in walking distance."

Defiantly will be back x Only 2 little mini things was couldn't work out the shower and no instructions about how to work the hot tub. Only that there was someone in the pool telling us how to work the cover and turning it on. Myself and my partner had a great stay and we will be back x "

"Karen is a brilliant hostess. She welcomes you into her beautiful historic, unbelievably cosy home, some of which dates back to the days of Tudor. The rooms are spotlessly clean and warm. The full English breakfast is substantial and very tasty. It is well posted, being only a 5 minute walk from the lakeside and a two minute walk from the bus stop to Keswick or Workington. I will definitely be going back."
