"I love this hotel! Right in the center of Squaw Valley; a quick walk to restaurants and bars, or out into nature. The staff is friendly, and my wife was very happy to be there. All in all great place that we'd be happy to go back to."

"We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Granlibakken Tahoe! The location is perfect—peaceful, tucked in the trees, yet close to everything around the lake. The manager was so welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help, which really made us feel at home. The lodge has that cozy Tahoe charm that makes you want to stay longer. My husband says he’s never slept so well—though that might be because I made him carry the luggage. 😉 Already looking forward to coming back!"

"Absolutely charming little inn tucked inside the Eldorado National Forest only a bit more than half hour past Lake Tahoe outside Carson City. You can’t imagine any setting much better! The room: pristine clean; modern, renovated, sheets soft as butter and a memory foam mattress you will think you are a baby in a cradle! Fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pretty new hardwood like flooring - no gross carpet. Heat lamp and plenty of hot water for shower. Only negative for us - no restaurant so we went a mile down the road to a 76 gas station and picked up giant pack of all beef Kirkland hot dogs $9.99, buns, and breakfast snacks. Came back and cooked them on the grill outside watching the beautiful sunset, and hearing the rapids of the American River. Several areas for relaxing, outdoor fire pits with plenty of wood. Pet friendly. Definitely will come again. "
