"Really old and run down shower had no water pressure"

"The parking was easy and free, the staff could of been more friendly and more helpful, the rooms and hotel look worn out and the carpet in the room had dirt"

"Free parking Breakfast poor Hotel in neeed of refurbishment. In poor condition Fraying carpets and cleanliness not good Room 25 was cold Even with heating on.Very draughty.Too cold to have shower heated towel rail not working Staff indifferent"

"Clean room"

"We were travelling with a dog so stayed in a dog-friendly room. Sadly, it smelled badly of wet dog and there was a dirty patch of floor and skirting board in the bathroom which looked like mud at best, or dog mess, at worst. Although we are dog owners, we do like a room that smells nice and that’s cleaned properly."

"Beautiful setting and very welcoming by Sam. Great breakfast and comfortable beds."

"Superb stay for an overnight business trip ."

"Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again"

"Excellent service"

"The room smelled musty and all night long there was banging and noise as we were on the ground floor right next to reception area and entrance. Didnt notice how bad until we went to bed. At 211:90 pm, 1:00 am went to front desk to complain or change room but no one there. It was a terrible experience. Will not stay there again - it made it worse that we drove for 5 hours to get there to attend a funeral in the morning."

"Always a pleasure to visit here- friendly staff and good facilities. We will be back!"

"Body wash in shower non existent (run out), sheets smelled like they had been stored damp at some stage. Chicken very dry. Disappointing!!"
