"Lovely room - unfortunately stayed on a Sunday night and restaurant wasn’t open"

"The air conditioning was not functioning. We had one small fans we left early as we could not sleep in the room."

"The place is really beautiful and elegant. Needed conditioner in the bathroom but small beans. The restaurant is very well equipped and for fine dining a wonderful experience but if you want a steak, just grilled to perfection, it’s what I’d describe as fussy."

"Great hotel to visit futurascope, basic room but very comfortable good air con. Restaurant was good we came out of park to eat then went back for the night show. Park is about 10/15 mins walk. Breakfast was ok €13pp buffet style."

"This place is really one of the best place i stayed ! Fantastic castel , top decoration , the staff is exceptional kind and helpfull. The room are fully well equiped , nice , great bed and space ! Fantastic stay ! I wanted to stay much more time and i will come back as soin as i am in Cognac area ! Thanks a lot Christophe"

"The Hotel on the edge of the town so quieter but easy access to restaurants and bars without having to use the car. The owner and staff extremely helpful, Good breakfast probably the best place to stay on the island."

"Hôtel très bien placé en centre ville mais pas de climatisation .Le descriptique de la chambre est équivoque (chauffage réglage de la climatisation) ce qui n'est pas vrai. Petit déjeuner fait le nécessaire. Le tout juste ce qu'il faut mais sans plus."

"The room was very basic and no drawers to put clothes, only 5 hangers between 2. Staff were friendly except one male member of staff. No food or drink available on Saturday and Sunday except for breakfast which was very depleted. I would not stay here again or recommend it."

"Very simple and quick check in. The room was very clean. We had a kettle in the room but had to go to the dining room to collect other items too make hot drinks. Plenty of parking in a quiet area with a buffalo restaurant next door."
