"Clean Room"

"The room and beds were clean and comfortable, we were so amazed and delighted to find a room with 3 queen beds!! What a bonus! The staff was very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again. Great location and good value. The only small thing was the breakfast, nothing fancy, just a light continental breakfast--though they did have a waffle iron. We ended up getting McDonald's, across the street, for breakfast."

"The first night we were in this motel we had the NOISIEST neighbors upstairs. I couldn't believe how loud they were just walking back and forth and up and down the stairs right outside our room. I called the front desk to see if we could get a different room on the second story and the next morning we were moved! Absolutely no issues after that. The staff were so friendly and the location was perfect. Definitely recommend!"

"Very pleasant staff, from Rita to Emily, everyone was very kind and welcoming. My wife and I enjoyed the hot tub and ease for pick up by the shuttle to the Sheplers port."

"Looked more like a hotel in pictures. But it's more of a motel and not as fancy and clean as a hotel."

"I booked this stay after seeing some of the pictures from the website. Really liked the lake front and beach bar never seen other places that have a 24 hour pool. Only thing I didn’t know when arrived that the lobby is at the top of driveway when coming off the street walked back up hill to check in."

"Great inn. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and homemade. Cookies in the afternoon a treat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great. Within walking distance yo restaurants and short drive to ferry. Highly recommend"

"If you need a place to lay your head…not too terrible. Theres a Walmart, a cute coffee shop and good restaurants. But if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness or the feeling of privacy, it’s not great. Staff was helpful though. "

"This hotel is in poor repair, dingy, and dirty. It probably would be best torn down and rebuilt- it looks like an ill maintained relic from the 1970s. Inside and out. Considering how dated and poorly maintained this property is, it is very expensive. The only benefit is it is close to the ferry to Mackinac Island. If I ever go to Mackinac again, I will plan to stay in St. Ignace. I was very glad to check out and leave."

"Water from tap smelled like sewage. Breakfast was minimal. Room had stains and was a handicap room which was not required. Lamps were so dim could not read by them."

"My daughter and I enjoyed a quick overnight visit to Mackinac Island. The Inn is located within easy walking distance from Main Street. It has a pretty hot tub, sitting porch and nice continental breakfast. I also noticed they had complementary cookies set out in the evening."
