"The property is well designed and maintained and our unit was very secluded and peaceful. This is a great location to rewind, relax and recharge both body and soul. The staff went over and beyond in being helpful and considerate. Best pool guy in the world. Thank you for an outstanding weekend stay."

"The Staff were great and the front desk person did what she could to help. The property does have a large parking lot in the back for large trucks. There was a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel, but it was closed on Sundays. The hotel is undergoing some renovations so the property looks a little ragged at the moment. A bit of trash around the parking lots. The property is right by the highway and there is construction going on so a little noisy that didn't go as far as the rooms. Nothing else much around the property besides a cemetery on one side and possibly apartments on the other. Rooms were spacious, nicely furnished, and comfortable. The first room wasn't adequately cleaned, so we were immediately given another room which turned out fine. Overall, it was worth the money and served our purposes. I would stay again. "

"The hotel is definitely new, our room was unexpectedly spacious..but the air vent in the bathroom was surprisingly not working🧐…love , love the green and black contrast of the BR tho…. For the price…the restaurant was too small…prompting us to go elsewhere…the free coffee and infused water is a plus ❤️ Overall the staff was friendly and helpful, always with a smile…."

"The Penn Stroud is a nicely appointed hotel. The beds are very comfortable. It is a downtown property with adequate parking. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. "

"The bathroom has mold in the shower and on the sink counter, exhaust fan didn't work & was dirty, one light was out and the light cover needed to be cleaned. That was just the bathroom! The carpet in the hallway(s) needs to be cleaned and/or repaired. Hallway molding was falling off and the lobby elevator was not working. The freeze in mini fridge needed to be defrosted you can't open the door. The only nice thing is flooring in the room was newer and the beds were fine. Lobby was nice."
