Hotel Mewah di Bandar Plymouth

"Checked out on arrival as the room had no air conditioning and the temperature of the room was at least 45 degrees, we were offered a fan but this would not have helped. The room was also really small, with an unpleasant smell but it was nicely furnished.Requested another room as apparently some rooms do have a.c. (The hallway leading to the room was a pleasant temperature) we were told they were fully booked (although Trivago showed 3 rooms available when we looked for somewhere else)...

"I am sure some years ago this was a 4 star property now it’s 2.5. Older rooms poor AC carpets like an old pub. Yeah it was ok at best, but for 200+ a night …. I was glad I booked only 1 night."

"We only stayed one night but we can honestly say the Hotel was above our expectations the staff were friendly and welcoming our room was spacious clean and beautifully decorated and quiet. The breakfast was freshly cooked that we pre ordered last night and delicious much better the the buffet style.There was plenty of choice of cereals fresh fruit salad yoghurts and a hot drinks machine. "The breakfast was good, and the people running it were nice and the breakfast room was pretty. Unfortunately that's where it ends, it didn't feel like a B&B, but like a hostel, the shower and bathroom were very dirty and absolutely tiny, it was nigh-on impossible to get into the shower the space was so small. I was also not given good information about which toilet to use (as in, I was told to use one which I later found out in the middle of the night was locked and I had to roam around to find...

"You need to book parking as very limited spaces. If not it’s £19 to park on street! Shower was broken so had to hold it by the head . Room small but ok. Breakfast staff friendly and food was ok."

"Loved the fact my partner and I had a double bed each in the same room. We need single beds but to find the room had 2 doubles giving us a fabulous sleep was a bonus. We were visiting friends so cannot comment on other aspects of the hotel as out for most of the time. Great position, walking to the Barbican was easy too."
