"Seemed like lots of renovations going on. There was a strange odor on the first floor. Breakfast was good but sme every day. Cats were here, there and everywhere. There were NO amenities especially pool. Rooms very clean and staff helpful."

There was also a cockroach in bathroom when I told the receptionist she said the hotel just had been treated for them . Even though a 3 star hotel should not be so filthy."

"We had a great stay at Villa d'Irene on our last night in Greece. George picked us up and drove us back to the airport (for a fee) and was super helpful and accommodating. They are used to people just staying for a short time between flights, and he had great recommendations for the neighborhood. Our kids loved spending the morning playing at the pool before we headed to the airport to catch our flight."

"I have no clue how this hotel has a 9/10 rating. The hotel was so old and pretty worn out. The photos you see on the website is over photoshopped. I found a long hair in the bathroom floor and the shower walls were stained. "

"It has alot of potential, just smelled when we got there and after that it makes us feel like the place is dirty, even if it doesn't look it. Not sure what it was, hether it as because no air circulation in the room and maybe hadn't been used in a while, not sure."

"It's important to know that despite being close to the airport it's in a rural environment which is fantastic if what you're looking for is for a little calm before taking a stressful flight. Room is nice, good shower and great included breakfast. That said, if you are looking for a place with airport shuttle and a good restaurant to hang out the night before probably not the place. Property owner went above and beyond, when I sent my teenage son who lost the his phone so had no communication with me or anyone else, the property owner arranged transportation to and from airport and even offered to get him food. And we DONT KNOW EACH OTHER! Property owner was just being extremely helpful and kind From one human to another"
