"It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. "Fantasztikus családi vállalkozás! A hely egyszerűen hihetetlen. Távol a világ zajától az esőerdő mélyén. A háziasszony finom ételeket készít! Ő a lelke az egésznek. Mindenki felkészült a természet kincseiből, amiből van itt bőven! A túránk során , amit a férje vezetett, láttunk és fényképeztünk Tukánt, Spider monkeyt, és még egy másik fajtát is, és sok sok madarat. Éjszaka pedig békát és kígyót is! A fiaik nagyon nagyon lelkes természetbarátok. Életreszóló élmény volt az itt eltöltött pár nap!...

"Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge "

"We both share part of miscommunication at check in, since we arrived at night and they don't have frint desk at this hour. And we didn't tell them about our arrival. But everybody just move so quickly to fix everything for us even the owner phone us from out of the country to ensure everything was ok. Road was not good, but driving was ok, hour and a half from Puerto Jimenez. Rooms are big. Rest rooms are in the room, but kind of out in the open. NO AC. But fans, electricity is by solar panels,...
