"Villas del Vigía had the most amazing view I have come across! Unfortunately, all three beds that were included in the villa were extremely hard, almost rock hard. I mentioned to the person in charge that my mom, who was staying with me, could no longer put up with her back pain and if there was anything they could do (like switch the mattress for example)
The reply was “we will see what we can do” and never hear back on that topic again, and a week later we checked out.

"This is our new favorite place to stay and we’ve been going to Zihua for 14years. This is not a hotel, it’s a private condo within walking distance to some of the best area restaurants. The beach is right downstairs and the views are incredible. Luis is always on time to meet us and the housekeeping staff is amazing. Your master bed looks out over the ocean and is private while offering amazing views. The pool on the roof top is another plus and we usually have it all to ourselves- "

"There are many nice aspects of this old hotel -- built in the 50s and 60s on a high cliff 240 stone steps above Playa La Ropa (best beach in the area). Let me say I am an American and this place caters to mostly Mexicans. I did have a great stay, but there are rough spots that people should know about and some that management could fix.
First there is zero 'room guide' that would assist those unfamiliar with such things as the AC (that has ~ 6 modes, only 2 of which cool the room). Cable TV ...
