"Here’s a polished review you can post: We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aguas Claras in Costa Rica. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!"

"Great place to stay on the Caribbean side! VERY nice owners who were super helpful. This place literally has a private beach!!! The house itself was so much fun and HUGE! Great if you have kids or even if you want a romantic getaway. Would definitely stay here again! "

"We had a wonderful stay. Very relaxed environment in the thick of the jungle. It was extremely easy to schedule a Tuk Tuk or ride their bikes for the day so we were happy to be off the main road. Even though there is not a pool at Moabi, many places in the area have a day-pass so not a big deal. Hosts were very hospitable. We would stay again."

"The grounds are expansive and absolutely beautiful. We saw monkeys, giant green macaws and toucans on the property. The location - between Playa Cocles and Playa Chiquita - is perfect. "Lots of mosquitoes, bugs and lizards inside the room. The walls are not sealed and have half inch gaps in the doors, and all walls with no screen doors downstairs. There were tons of mosquitoes that went through these cracks with the lizatds and bugs. There were cisterns right outside the front door buzzing with hundreds of mosquitoes that easily got inside. "The staff were incredible and so helpful. The cabins are open air; just screen windows, so if you hate being damp, this is not the place for you. There are also a lot of ants, so don't leave ANY crumbs unattended. Location and garden were amazing... Definitely a "roughing it" kind of stay, so be prepared, and bring waterproof bags or ziplocks for your electronics"
