Hostess was so friendly! Room was spacious. Nice quiet but very convenient location. Breakfast was wonderful. Only complaint was inconsistent hot water. Ample parking - which is hard to find in Scotland. Charming place in a charming town.

This was a wonderful guest house. The house decor was pretty, the breakfast was great, the host was welcoming, the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and was very easy to get the perfect temperature. We really enjoyed our stay.

From the moment Nancy welcomed us, we knew we were going to be spoiled. The Poplars Guesthouse is gorgeous, immaculately clean, warm, quiet and inviting. Scott has put much love and care into the yard and gardens. They have literally thought of everything. The breakfast choices were varied and exciting for we Canadians; did we mention how delicious they were as well? The Poplar’s location is perfect - a 5 minute walk from lovely downtown Pitlochry. The area is a nice mix of town and nature. Definitely one of the loveliest lodgings and places we have stayed in. Thank you Nancy and Scott! Your kindness and care were greatly appreciated. Nancy was delightful! Wished we could have explored Pitlochry more. I will say the shower/bathroom is tiny, but doable for one night.

Fantastic location, in a quiet area and with the most beautiful view from our room. Ideal for drivers as had plenty of space to park. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Was pleasantly surprised with wide choice of breakfast options. Would highly recommended to family and friends.

We had car trouble just before we arrived and were just able to get the rental car to the property. Nacy and Scott were so friendly, understanding and helpful. I was able to get the car looked at while at the property. The house itself is gorgeous. The property is well appointed. It is very elegant. There is a sitting room and a library that guests can use, which we did. It is only a 5 to 10 minute walk into town. The Breakfast room is reserved for breakfast. There are many options. They ask you fill out your order the night before and when you would like the breakfast. The food is fantastic. My only regret is that we were not there long enough to try everything. The rooms itself are cozy, clean and well maintained. The beds are nice and comfortable. Shower is a good size with nice water pressure. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a fantastic stay!

We had a lovely stay ,,great room ,,nice comfy beds ,,tea, coffee and biscuits in the room . Breakfast was really good ,the pre order is a super idea. No waste ,plenty of tea ,coffee and toast
