"Beautiful stay, we absolutely loved it. Our cottage was a little dusty and the light up mirror in the bathroom didn't work, but staff were really helpful and we enjoyed our stay nonetheless."

"The grounds and hike were wonderful and well kept. We enjoyed exploring it very much. Our room was quiet and had a lovely view out the windows. It was different than a regular hotel and we really enjoyed it. Would stay there again."

"A beautiful historic group of buildings in highland architectural syle externally that has been thoughtfully and completely moderised internally. Great suite type rooms and very nicely decorated and furnished communal spaces. Good restaurant, dinner menu a little restricted but very well executed. Breakfast is an excellent spread of continental and Scottish fare done buffet style with specialty egg dishes made to order. Interesting, but very expensive, wine list. Slick service delivered by all staff who are friendly and helpful and an interesting international mix. Local village is lovely and very quiet. Surrounding scenery jaw droppingly lovely. Well worth the (beautiful) drive to get to Dunalastair."

"Wonderful little cabin! Very clean and cozy. It was so cute inside with the highland cow items and duck curtains. Area was quiet and the beds were comfy for some good restful sleep mid trip. Would 100% recommend. The only thing that wasn’t the best was after the second person showered they ran out of out water. So the water is very hot but doesn’t last very long. Also one of the last guests left bag of dog poop under the front stairs, we tossed it in the garbage but please clean up properly after you pets in such a beautiful place!"
