"We stayed for 2 nights & loved it! Such friendly staff, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable & we had a great time! Our server at breakfast was so funny & chatty which we enjoyed. Breakfast was probably the best cooked full Scottish I’ve had in a long time. We would definitely go back. I’d say just as an fyi that the bar does get busy so book a table if you’re eating lunch or dinner there. Also, the music in the bar doesn’t stop until 11pm so we could hear it from our room but it wasn’t a problem at all. The transport for the Enchanted Forest is directly over the road so that was also very handy for us, especially in the rain!! Altogether, a very lovely hotel that I’d highly recommend!!"

"This place was simply amazing. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s a very easy pleasant and short walk right to the heart of town. Would definitely highly recommend staying here to anybody."

"The Dunalastair was a pleasant surprise at the end of a long and winding road, and I mean that literally! We booked online thinking it would shorten our ride to Edinburgh from Loch Ness because the Expedia website said it was in Pitlochry, but it’s actually 20 miles away from Pitlochry! Since it was a one-night stay and rainy we weren’t able to enjoy all of the property, but the rooms were spacious and modern, the restaurant featured excellent food and service, and the front desk staff was attentive. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Maybe next time?"

"From the minute we checked in, Sean, the manager personally attended to every detail. The 19 room hotel is quaint, beautiful and perfectly decorated. The wood burning fireplaces in the drawing room and the bar room add to the ambiance. The dinner in the restaurant was exquisite. Overall, friendly service in a beautiful boutique hotel."
