"I'm a native English speaker, but some of the hotel staff spoke limited English. I tried to learn as much as I could before my trip, and it was really helpful! "The Bamboo was a great apartment hotel for a one night stay in San José. We had airline problems/last minute cancellation with American Airlines and didn't get in until late. The hotel made sure someone was there late and when we needed to go out to meet up with local friends they provided us with the garage gate opener. The breakfast was a great local home made dish."
