If you are looking for a vintage stay then Quip is right for you. Me and my wife enjoyed staying in Quip. Little Noisy at night because of live music but it wasn't problem for us. Room have sufficient space, hangers. TV is large and have wifi connected. Me and my partner enjoyed Youtube and Netlix. Staff are very nice and helpful. We will come back again.

A step above a nice hostel- room was spacious for the price and had all the necessities. Common spaces are beautiful- doesn’t seem to be much staff but the ones we encountered were very helpful. Very reasonable cost was a huge factor. Thanks for your care!

NOT a Bed and Breakfast
I booked this hotel because it's listed as a "bed and BREAKFAST" except once you get here you find out that the rooftop restaurant is closed - permanently - and there is no breakfast. At all. The hotel is also so bare-bones that there is virtually no one to help or to whom you can ask a question as tourists are want to do from time to time. If, like me, you need a breakfast and cofffe straight away in the morning, or think you may want to ask for directions or suggestions about something, this is not the hotel for you. If you are totally self-sufficient and don't mind fending for your own coffee and eggs, then the Quipp is fine.

Cheap hotel, didnt pay too much, cannot expect much. Concrete rough walls and floors. Bed was on a wooden pallet.

The hotel is located in the perfect area. There are many shops and restaurants at walking distance. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We were able to rent a motobike from the lobby. The breakfast was not great- no variety and unhygienic, it was included in the price however so cant complain. Really enjoyed our stay here, we would stay again.

Overall the room we stayed in was nice and clean and located centrally. However when we entered the bathroom it reeked of cigarettes, due to the lack of ventilation in the bathroom the smell remained there for the following two nights that we stayed. The “continental breakfast” was also very disappointing as it only consisted of toast, one type of cereal, juice and coffee. So that is something to be aware of.

Actually all of our rooms are non smoking room. The smell should not pop-up. However, our team will make sure that no smell in the room.

No life in the building, beware you have a big suitcase! Breakfast is basic. Lication is quite good. Close to the road so make so noisy!

Very funky vibe, modern and up to date, comfortable and spacious room. Quieter than I thought it would be given that my room was street side. Overall, I was impressed and I would stay here again!

not happy with staying there... in breakfast they serve only bread butter and cookies to eat... there is dirty runnel adjacent to restaurant... rooms are so small. overall this hotel ruined our trip... there are more better options available in this price

Dear Vishal Our continental breakfast is provided for guest as a complimentary. However, if you like to have american breakfast, Quiplicious restaurant is welcome for you as well. For dirty runnel adjacent which near our restaurant, I understand that some guest like it as it's natural while some guest doesn't like it as dirty. However, we cannot change the adjacent or move our building to somewhere else. Therefore, please understand this point. We also have SKY BAR which located on the top floor and I'm sure that it's your taste. Jib (GM)

When booking, we liked that this places seemed fairly simple but nice. However, when we arrived, we found that the conditions of the facilities were quite poor. Hard as rock beds (like sleeping on the floor) and very average bathroom layout and cleanliness.

Hard bed is healthy for your body. Thai people use it as normal even me. After sleep in hard bed for 1-2 mth, back pain will be release. For cleanliness, thank you much I will improve respectively.

Pretty cool and hip hotel
The hotel was pretty quirky, definitely for a younger crowd as there was also a club downstairs. Room pretty spacious and good value for money. Breakfast also very basic. Only downside was the music from the club could still be heard from the 4th floor until 2am and there are no lifts inside.

The hotel was a very fun and interesting decor. The staff was very friendly and rooms were clean. The only complaint I have is that the bar next door had loud music and you could hear it on the 4th floor until bar close.

This was such a nice place to stay! The room was very nice and clean, and the whole place itself was so stylish. Definitely a cool vibe! The skybar on the top floor is really nice as well.

Good location, cool room
Hotel is nicely located near a lot of cafes. We loved the room except that we had 5 people and had to pay for the extra person charges yet no additional bed was given. Also had to request for extra towels and pillows. We loved the pool table too. One thing to note is that the hotel does not have lifts. So staying on the top level (4) might be a problem for some. The drain for the shower also kept getting clogged towards the end of our stay. Overall the hotel room was perfect, we loved the movie channel and the room layout! Perfect for a group of friends or family. If only more beds can be added because the room was quite spacious.

Staff were extremely helpful if you had any questions, and it's a close enough walk/motorbike to get something to eat or do some shopping. Local buses nearby can take you to the beach if you don't have a motorbike, it's only a 30min ride

Not a good choice at all...
Really not happy! There is a club at the ground floor that won't let you sleep until 1am. Try to get the highest floor (the 4th) to get away from the noice. The mattress is so hard that you will wake up in pain (all rooms have the same mattress apparently). Stained bed sheets. My pillow was smelling of sweat despite the clean cover. The bathroom is poorly paved and the water from the shower ended up all over the places instead of flowing into the drainer. The staff is really demotivated and careless. No laundry service. The room features a nice modern industrial design. Impossible to even attempt touching the blinds... all the ropes are messed up and you will end up messing them even more! The safe box stopped working and they had to open it with its special key. However every key is numbered and associated to a certain room. Unfortunately my safe had already been moved from a different room and the staff took almost one hour to find the proper key. Great location. Recommended for those people who party until 1am or later.

Dear Anonymous Our property is suitable for Youth Hotel as we have a Bar & Restaurant which open till 2 AM. However, thank you for the comment which we will improve respectively. Safety boxes have been checked every room and fixed. Mattress is our big job however, we will order the new modern one which more comfortable.

In urgent need of soundproofing.
If the first thing the hotel staff told you was that the room was next to the pub so it could be loud at night, you knew then that it was not a good start. Our first night went with a bang literally. We could hear awful dance music until 1 am. The second night was better, thanks to a group of Chinese tourists who.staged a mini protest about the noise from the pub. So, the pub turned down the volume a bit. Seriously, if the hotel would like to secure more guests in the future, it needs to soundproof every room. Otherwise, I couldn't see any points of coming back.

Quip B&B.
Amazing staff. Always available and able to assist with any questions or needs. I was traveling with my family and they made sure we were comfortable in a more youthful style hotel.

Note that despite being called Quip Bed & Breakfast, breakfast is NOT included. We stayed for 3 nights and really didn't get much sleep. The rooftop bar is open until 1am and the rooms are not sound proof at all. If we had known there was a bar above we would not have stayed here. Hotel staff did not give us new water after each day. Overall, customer service is poor. There are no smiles to greet you as you walk in. Staff just seem to be sitting at the desk on Facebook. Wifi throughout the hotel and in the rooms is very patchy. Quip is in a great spot if you're looking to walk around Phuket Old Town. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend and I certainly won't be returning.

Quip Bed and No-Breakfast
I chose this place because it was the cheapest of the budget friendly options I was looking at, but def should've spent the extra $5-10 bucks staying somewhere else. 1) We booked a room with a view and they tried to give us a room with no windows. We complained and they changed our room; view is w/e. 2) 500 baht cash deposit for your key card - I understand the deposit part, but they should really charge this on a card. This was my last hotel stay in the area before flying to a different country and I didn't really want 500 extra baht on me. 3) It says they have laundry included as a hotel service, but they don't so that should be removed from the description. 4) Breakfast wasn't included with our booking, but we went to check out the breakfast anyway because they said we could pay ourselves. All they serve is toast with jam and plain cereal - not much of a breakfast, and they def are overcharging for that. 5) Loud music both upstairs and downstairs through the night; kept my husband up every night. 6) They wouldn't give us more water when we first asked, but we were told this was included as well. We had to ask three different staff at three diff times before we got our water. 7) The room comes with a mini-fridge, but the electric in the room is controlled through the keycard. If you are storing things in the fridge, but then leave your room, your fridge will turn off when you take the key card out of the electric plug. You only get one key card per room.

Clean & modern hotel in old town
Great central location to Old Town Phuket. Loads of little shops, bars, and eateries within minutes walking distance. The facility is really neat and modern. Great rooftop bar which was nice to hangout on in the evenings to cool off. Near a busy intersection so if you're a light sleeper may not be a great option. Also beds are very firm.

Terrible check in reception staff, it took them 2 hours to figure out how to use expedia reservations and my husband had to help them because we were so frustrated and didn't understand why she couldn't find our reservation. They thought we booked through another website. They never checked in with us to let us know if we were all set to go. We contacted Expedia twice and hotel reception kept hanging up on expedia. The coffee bar staff was amazing, so was the hotel busboy and sky lounge workers. But I will never return to this hotel. The bed is hard and had burnt cigarette holes through sheets.

It was a transitory stay for one night, so we could take the ferry the next day. It met all our needs for this purpose. Clean and cute. Did assume breakfast was included due to the name, but it is extra. Its a great city location near food and shops.

Good quirky hotel
Comfortable and clean hotel. Some reception desk staff didn't speak much English, but made a good effort to help. However, the hotel didn't have elevators, and we were required to carry large luggages up the stairs.

Great Town location.
Close to eateries, popular old town shopping on Thalang Rd., 5 minute walk to Trick eye museum, some Chinese temples in the area and close to convenience stores also 5 minute drive to Central Festival shopping mall. The hotel itself was quite quirky but beware the bathroom is wet room. Breakfast is limited to toast, tea, coffee, jam better of elsewhere. Staff speak very little English. Good luck!

This is the most terrible experience I have met. Bk this trip through expedia.com. Paid for a quip family suite upon chk in hotel staff said room was full offered a 2 bedroom instead for 3 person. Ask the staff why the room is full still accept booking. Brush off explanation as its the management issue. 2nd is there is no lift to the room.We 3 ladies have to carry our own luggage of 12kg to 4th storey.The staff did not offer to help. Tolietries strictly no toothbrush. Will not stay in this hotel anymore

Fantastic stay at a comfortable and convenient location to downtown Phucket. Delicious food and drinks and a gorgeous rooftop bar. The staff were incredibly helpful.
