Beautiful rooftop bar and pool, and they gave us a free beer on arrival. Great place to watch the sunset. Staff were really friendly and we were able to leave our luggage. Room was clean and comfy.
Le Botum is a very nice hotel in a really great location. The thing for me that makes it way above nice is the staff. All are smiling, happy and greet you and happy to help you.
Excellent place to stay when visiting Phnom penh. Staff are very friendly and helpful, that and the location of the hotel is in walking distance to many sights in the city like the royal palace and the national museam
This is now 2nd time i stay here and it will not be the last. Le Botum overall i a very nice and excellent value hotel.
It is in an excellent location for things i like to do.
Love the skybar, pool and restaurant and food options.
The thing that makes this hotel a standout for me is the staff. The are so friendly and happy and so good to talk to....
Stayed here several times, top notch. Had a complaint about initial cleaning of room but they straightened it out in a few hours with no fuss.
It is a very comfortable cool place.
It’s located next to all the tourist spots and a short walk to sports bars and restaurants. Our room overlooked the royal palace and the river Mekong beyond. The bed was comfortable, the bath room had a great shower. The hotel has a rooftop pool that gives you panoramic views across the city. The pool is clean and there are a few sunbeds for you. We had the breakfast option with our reservation. There was a selection of local and western style offerings. There was an egg and noodle bar.
Should I return to Phnom Penh, I’d use this place again.
We enjoyed our stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful, our room was clean and the sky bar is great. The location is in a good area. My only minor issue would be there needs to be some maintenence done in the shower bc the water would leak out onto the bathroom floor. Other than that, i would recommend Le Botum and will come back again.
I liked it was on a quiet street it had a nice pool, breakfast could have been better, caters more for asian tourists , i hated the fact they could not change 50 dollars , for a smaller denomination, for my taxi had to looking for somewhere after 9 pm to change. Seems they are quick enough to accept dollars but won't return them .
Very large, comfortable room. TV has many channels, but as the channel numbers increased, the reception was snowy and awful, especially on CNN.
Major problem was the shower. Hot water lasted only a minute or so. They said they fixed it, but they didn't and later admitted the shower had only 15 liters of hot water. Ridiculous. Less than a gallon. So, I was forced to shower in cool, but not icy water.
Also, English spotty. Very hard to communicate. Staff must learn to serve tourists from all over, Europe, South America, Asia and Africa, not just English countries, most of whom use English as the international travel language.
Breakfast good and offers choices cooked to order. Staff is friendly, but translate apps are not good with Khmer language.
Worst was that hotel is in a very quiet area. Nothing around, requiring taxi or Tuk Tuk to seek night life or dinner. Long walk to Palace and Riverside. They say it's close, but it's not.
Gave me smaller room than when I returned from Siem Reap visit. TV had fewer channels, no CNN this time and reception was worse. Was in a lower floor. The reason? Shower still has little hot water, but my stay was short, leaving in the morning for Bangkok.

Never staying here again
Not the best experience.especially for the price and service.i suggest Baitong hotel.
Staff did not greet us, the room was small and I couldn’t even open the door of the mini-fridge since the bed was blocking it. All furnitures are low quality and the bed sheets were itchy. This place is overrated, not worth the price at all.

The buffet was disappointing I think perhaps change the options every second day so that there is variety and we were disappointed that you cannot use the pool after 2pm that is one reason we booked with you so we could use the pool and look over the sights and relax apart from that we enjoyed our stay

Wet mattress and dirty floors
Provided a good to-go breakfast package, though had to follow up a few times.
When entered a room and sat on bed, realized that the bed had a wet spot, which seemed like pee that was washed and covered. As mattress has not dried yet, it showed up on the surface. Staff could not understand what it was - thinking we spilled something. We said we will use other beds, but wanted to flag it. Next day the bed was made, hence they just put the sheet back on on the supposedly peed mattress.
Attached is a pic of our feet 5 mins into being in the room.
Hotel has a nice lobby, but evidently super dirty inside.
