"The Weathervane was fine for a one night stay where I just needed a bed without breaking the bank but be wary of the quality you’re getting. The room was decently clean but definitely outdated and could do with pretty extensive renovations. Carpet, comforter, curtains, and walls were stained and counter tops were mysteriously sticky, but the linens were clean and the bed was very comfortable. WiFi info was written on a wrinkled sticky note, which would be easy to miss. No overhead lights but there were lots of lamps, the bathroom was well lit, and the natural light from the big back yard was nice.
My biggest complaints/concerns were that the front door had no deadbolt, just the lock in the handle, which didn’t seem very secure. The check in process is also not very straightforward. It seems that the owner/manager lives on the property, but no one came to the door when we rang the doorbell for the office. One of the staff members had to call someone to come down and hand us a key. They were not the friendliest nor very informative, don’t expect high quality service. I also ran out of water mid shower and had no running water for the rest of the night. It was back on again in the morning, but overall I didn’t feel the quality of the stay was worth the price. Book with caution. "
"My Room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable king size bed, couch and comfortable reading chair. The staff was very polite and accommodating, also helpful with dining recommendations. It was also close to skiing, as I desired. It was a very good value and I was very comfortable during my stay. I would definitely stay there again."
"While located on a main road into Manchester, we didn’t notice any traffic noise and the back view looks like you’re in the middle of the forest. The room was excellently suited to our needs. We especially enjoyed having two comfortable chairs and a small table to use. Good size and comfortable beds. Very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful ."
"This is a great hotel for ski in/out. Property has nice amenities but the rooms and common areas are very out dated and needs a refresh. Jackson Gore is great for family skiing and very easy to access the rest of the mountain."
"Every employee was incredibly friendly, even if only passing us in the foyer or hallways. Stacy, the operations manager, was especially engaging, knowledgeable and helpful as we were deciding what to do for dinner and what events and venues were worth visiting. We took all of her suggestions and were thrilled when she was spot-on across the board, from Ye Olde Tavern to the syrup-making tour at Dutton’s to the Vermont Country Store. She’s an asset to your operations."
"The bath soap container was empty. I asked a hotel staff member if she could refill the dispenser and she said she would bring it to my room in a few minutes. She never showed up as promised. I passed her on the way out 45 minutes later. She look at me and went on her business. "

"Room was dusty ans did not appear to have been cleaned properly, had an allergy flair up. Found hairs in the bathroom. No other rooms available had to leave. Had to leave to another place. However staff was understanding, polite and tried to accommodate. It just didn’t work for us. "
