The property is beautiful and very serene. Our nature walking guide provided a zen experience through the tropical forest down to the pristine waters of the nature reserve. The rooms are lovely and quiet. The hotel and pool are magical.
I really loved my stay here. Amazing and friendly stuff. The food was next level of quality and taste. All the waiters were super kind and friendly. The room was clean and cosy. Really sad I stayed only 2 nights, I wish I stayed longer.
There is no TV, poor lighting several steps around and when it rains it’s not safe to walk around, the bathroom has a very small sink and small mirror, floors are super cold and shower drain gets blocked, the Resturant is really one Star, the staff are friendly , the road to this property is a real challenge , beware when you book here , overall we had a bad experience , will never come back
“My impression walking in versus leaving was a complete 180.”
Let me start with the positives—and the reason you don’t need to stay overnight to enjoy this place. The food is absolutely delicious. You can make a reservation, take your pictures, and enjoy a beautifully prepared dinner and well-crafted cocktails. The food and drinks are easily 5 stars. The customer service inside the restaurant and spa was also warm and welcoming.
Unfortunately, my stay changed my overall impression. I stayed for two nights, and while the rooms themselves are very nice, they are not soundproof at all. If you’re placed near loud guests, it can be extremely disruptive. When we first contacted reception, we were told the noise was coming from trees. It wasn’t until our second call that the receptionist realized our neighbors were actually having a party. Having to argue that the noise was not trees was frustrating and disappointing.
The biggest issue, however, was related to why I came in the first place. I was considering this property as a potential wedding venue. I had scheduled a meeting with the wedding coordinator a month in advance, and they never showed up. I was left on read repeatedly with no follow-up or explanation. It was incredibly disheartening to not be given even basic respect or time, especially for a location with so much promise. It honestly made me question how I would have been treated had I actually chosen this place for my wedding.
This property has so much potential

Middle of nature reserve , beautiful verdant location. Wonderful included breakfast . We had dinner twice at the restaurant , was delicious and flavorful . Staff attentive.
New property, some advertised facilities are not available - No spa, airport shuttle as advertised . Rooms were nice size and rustic to go with natural reserve theme .They have some issues with drainage , Bathrooms were smelly , very offputting . Room configuration bit weird - doorway to shower area . No doors to shower , only half glass door with full visibility of shower from room . Other Glass wall of shower faces outer hallway - can easily fix with some curtains. Overall nice , with a few tweaks can be better .
Having been greeted by a smiling Sebastian, he set the perfect tone for the visit. 😊
Esteban and Karla were excellent restaurant staff, always quick to accommodate; and Jonathon’s chicken recipe is a must try! I believe it to be the most moist and succulent chicken I have ever eaten, superb! 😋
Paola was an exceptional concierge, coordinating three tours to Cocura Valley on horseback, Termales Santa Rosa, and a local coffee farm; all wonderful in their unique ways.
Natalie, the cleaning lady, did a great job of caring for our personal needs, and Santiago, the yoga and hiking guide, provided tranquility to all of the guests lives.
Muchas gracias to all!
What a beautiful place! Probably the nicest hotel we‘ve stayed at during our entire Columbia trip. We really liked the vibe and concept of the whole place - highly recommended!
Wonderful property, food was good (just not the usual Colombian food, but still good). Pool and spa are great, the property hosts daily walks to the river and meditation sessions. Overall easy to get to the highway and it’s pretty safe. Only downside was that there really wasn’t much hot water for showers and the lighting in the rooms is very dim plus no mirrors (I think it’s just for the aesthetic of the property though). Overall great would stay here, staff is very helpful.
Beautiful property in desperate need for a good chef and better on the ground coordination for activities. The activities they offered were organized by a massive operator that doesn’t provide enjoyable options
THERE IS NOT SECURITY GUARD AFTER 10:00 PM.
THAT'S THE ONLY THING WE DON'T LIKE, ANYTHING ELSE IS GREAT

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
During our 5-night stay, we had several issues that significantly impacted our experience:
1. No hot water in the room.
2. We were assigned the wrong room despite paying for an upgrade to a better one.
3. Room service was forgotten on two out of the five nights, and we had to ask for it to be done.
4. Lack of privacy – people can easily see through the window while you're showering, and you can hear everything happening in other rooms.
5. The spa was out of service and couldn’t be used.
6. There was no TV in the room.
7. Poor service – the staff was inattentive and unresponsive.
Overall, we found this stay to be overpriced given the issues we mentioned.
