Had an excellent stay here. The staff were friendly and I also found the towel hire an excellent additional reasonably price. We took advantage of the cycle storage facilities with was great as well.

Nice simple accommodation- private room
Nice simple accommodation. Make sure to note the check in times (not open until 5pm.) walkable to visit Penzance.

Very nice place! A bit far from the bus station when coming as a backpacker. The private room for two was really small and rather expensive ( 100 £ without breakfast) but the location and the common rooms are nice and comfortable. I would have really appreciated a real coffee for breakfast and not the instant one ☕️.I think a coffee machine would be a good investment 😀

Thank you for your kind review and feedback. The coffee served at breakfast is filter coffee made from ground coffee not instant coffee (our de-caffinated option is instant currently). Sorry if you took the wrong the coffee.

Peaceful hostel in a nice old building around 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Clean and quiet. Check in times are a little restrictive and late check in is not possible.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Generally clean and comfortable. Un able to use showers before 7am which was inconvenient as we were catching the early ferry. Large groups and staff shortages prevented the normal menu being offered.

YHA Penzance
Very lovely hostile for a family stay. Our private room for six was large and had seating and a washing up basin. Shared toilets and showers were clean and close to the room. Community kitchen was very busy and dining was crowded...we were there during peak season. This is probably better off peak. No close by amenities such as grocery, so expect a walk or drive to the store.

Lovely YHA hostel situated in the middle of a lovely nature surrounding as well as a good location to visit other Cornwall attractions. The only negative comment was from my teenaged kids regarding the internet being slow and mostly cutting out. Otherwise everything else was top notch.

Wonderful Youth Hostel in Gorgeous Cornwall
One of the nicest YHA I've ever stayed in. It's located in a lovely old house. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it doesn't have that loud "echo" sound that a lot of youth hostels have. The check in crew were very friendly and helpful with local information. Overall a great deal in a pricey part of the country.

Thank you for your review. When we had a refurbishment a few years ago I saw more insulation than I thought possible to fit in the house. Our heating bills have been drastically reduced without putting the heating on! This means on a still evenings some of our rooms can become a bit stuffy. If you were in a private room the staff would have been able to open the windows for you. I hope this did not detract from a great holiday.

Great place. I booked a private room for two people. There were 6 beds in the room (3 bunks). Lovely staff, great checkin. Facilities include - bar, games room, lounge room with sofas and TV, kitchen (with 6 x four ring hobs, two ovens, microwaves, all cooking and serving equipment), full laundry room, games room. Showers were powerful and good, toilets were clean and modern (shared but plenty of them spread around the building). Great value for money especially at the peak time we were there. Camping available, loads of picnic benches in the large garden. Great to cook your own meal and east in either the dining room (next to the kitchen) or outside on a picnic bench (with a pint of beer from the bar). Plenty of parking, easy walk in to town (via the shortcut footpath). No YHA membership required to stay. Excellent. very quiet woodland area, bus stop to St ives 15 min walk away.

Good value for money.
Friendly staff. Good value for money. We couldn't sleep one night because of a group of young travellers drinking and making a lot of noise. Staff should be more aware about this kind of situations.

Convenient, comfortable, very friendly staff. Only downside was our room's proximity to shared toilet made late evening little noisy for those early to bed! But will come again.

Quiet in winter!
Lovely old place, not many guests when we stayed in December, so we almost had the place to ourselves. Our family was upgraded to a larger room, and our breakfast and dinner was cooked to order, at pre-agreed times. Personal service!

Enjoyed the stay!
It was my first time in Penzance and I chose the right place to stay. The staff are very friendly and the location is fantastic. It's in a little forest like place, 25 minutes walk from the station. You woke up to the sound of birds, little stream etc. I loved it.

Near to Penzance Railway station. Quite rooms and clean atmosphere. Only problem is that it has common bathroom.

Amazing hostel in an excellent location, with great staff and excellent food in the restaurant, however both times I tried to have a shower the water was freezing!!
