"First, this is more of a motel than a hotel as the rooms open to the outside. It also advertises a "private beach" but it is a very small area with a few chairs that leads to the bay (not the ocean). The actual beach is a several minute walk across a busy street. While they provide bikes, and surf boards, there are very few other ammenities. However, we thought the rooms were clean and maintenence was responsive to an issue we had. We believe the facilities to be appropriately priced for the age and condition of the property. "

"Room was great. Clean. Beds are good and comfortable. Was in a 2-room and because the design is odd, there were no chairs to sit in. The only places you could sit is on your beds. Plenty of cabinet storage. Breakfast is VERY simple. Cereals, yogurt, bagels, poptarts, microwave sausage biscuits. But being down near the beach vs. driving in from the mainland is very helpful. Very affordable compared to the monsters closer to the ocean. Oh and make sure you got some shoes in the room…sandy feet is a given at the beach. Staff was very nice! "

"They were dredging the ocean while we were there so there was equipment and pipe everywhere, which was not disclosed before we arrived. Also, there was a 350 people event one night so we couldn’t park for 15-20 minutes driving around looking for a spot after we had paid for parking. The pools were ice cold so we went to the holiday inn where it was heated. Overall, we had a good trip but just wish we had known some of this ahead of time. "

"To begin with, the customer service was horrible upon arrival. No way to pull up to hotel to check in without a room key, we had to park elsewhere and walk to get our key. The front desk was rude and took there time, I was in line for a really long time. Everything was outdated and dirty looking in the room, the fridge and TV didn’t work, unable to connect to internet even after paying for the WiFi service. When we asked for towels they brought us two small ones, we were a family of four. They never cleaned our room during our stay. Literally the only thing positive is the access to the beach. Pool was fine, however, music was extremely loud and not appropriate for children. Would not recommend."

"This hotel is perfect for a beach stay,we I have a service dog and she was very much welcomed! Ashley on day shift is amazing,check in was easy and all the staff was awesome,great breakfast,awesome views from our balcony! Loved that this hotel stands alone with its own private beach,very nice vibe l. Will definitely be the place we will stay when we are in Pensacola Beach again!"

"The property was ok, we were notified of the painting and cable updates ahead of our visit. What was horrible about the stay was the beach front access that was advertised in the rental was closed and being worked on 24 hours a day. They had heavy equipment and a huge pipeline pumping sand up on the beach. During the night we were awakened because of the noise from the heavy equipment and banging of the pipeline. When we told the property manager, Southern Hospitality they said they had no idea it was happening. I feel they had to of known since the people that live there knew about it, it was in the news, however, I didn’t know it and would expect the property management to stay up on that kind of thing. I had booked earlier this year and really was looking forward to my beach front condo so we could walk and sit along the beach every day. Instead it a very disappointing vacation. Southern Hospitality just keeps telling me they won’t refund anything since they are only responsible for the condo. Maybe they shouldn’t advertise they are beach front access then."
