"A very basic old hotel, limited parking so you need to park on the street. Basic continental breakfast, no tongs for lifting bread etc. Terrible coffee machine. Rooms are outdated and very basic, strangest bath/shower configuration i have ever seen and anyone over 6ft tall will struggle to use. Bath taps loose and moved when try to use them, bathroom shelf hanging off the wall and the roller blind stained with multiple dead spiders. No aircon, although a small fan was in the room and the windows...

"It’s obviously an old hotel, however they obviously take cleaning seriously as the place was immaculate. The staff were great, and very friendly. This was a last minute trip booked for a gig at anfield and I’d stay here again"

"The place needs cleaned up, long term residents mixed with short term in same house but not same room, loud permanent resident keeps others awake. Not recommended. Staff is nice. Just a lot of work needed on and within this place."

"Lovely hotel. Central to everything you need and the carpark isn’t far away. Staff are so friendly and the breakfast was lovely. I wasn’t keen on the omelette but everything else was lush. Beer was a little expensive and I think there was a service charge which didn’t seem fair but hey we had a good weekend."

"Excellent location, very clean room and all the staffs were very helpful. I had very squeaky set of wheels from my suitcase and was able to borrow a can of WD40 from maintenance to solve the issue. Very helpful!"

"Location was easy to find, easy to park on the street and it was close to all the areas we wanted to visit. The property was clean and easy to access. The internet didn't reach the attic room but we weren't in the room that much so it wasn't a bother"
