"Our family recently stayed four nights at the Grand Hyatt Beijing, and overall it turned into a truly memorable experience. We did encounter some issues with the room condition on the day we checked in, which was a bit stressful given our tight schedule during a short stay in Beijing. However, what really stood out was how the hotel handled the situation. The staff went above and beyond to make things right and ensure the rest of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In particular, we would like to thank Eva at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, professional, and handled everything with such care and efficiency. Her attentiveness and warmth made a lasting impression on us. Honestly, nearly every staff member we interacted with reflected that same level of hospitality, and we are very grateful. The location of the hotel is another major highlight. It is extremely convenient—situated above an underground shopping mall with direct access to two metro lines, and within walking distance to major attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. There are also countless dining options nearby, along with easy access to shopping areas. The hotel itself is well maintained, and we especially enjoyed the indoor pool and spa facilities, which were perfect for families. Breakfast was also a standout—an impressive selection with excellent quality that made for a great start to each day. Despite the initial hiccup, the exceptional service truly made all the difference. "

"Great location! Got a room upgrade and loved the room. The towels felt so clean and soft, it was a really nice room. Location was conveniently located near all the shops and restaurants, we didn’t have to walk far to grab food. The staff was really nice."

"Rooom and hotel were very clean. Staff were polite and very helpful. Breakfast menu was exceptional and very tastey. In-suite clothes washer / dryer was great! Hotel was located a short walk from bus routes & a moderate walk along a greenway to a subway station. Shopping & restaurants located in the immediate area. We would definitely stay here again."

"Pool is closed, very old dark building and facility, they had a plumbing repair without notifying us so the water was running brown. Had to stay because I booked non refundable, and the location is central, but there’re TONs of other options steps away within the same price range. Won’t be back."

Without even asking,our suite was upgraded to an even larger one, pre-decorated with balloons and a birthday cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday! It’s the first time staying at The Peninsula but it will not be our last! Thank you to the amazing team that made our stay a most memorable one "
