"This hotel is driving distance to all the major beach areas. From the outside the hotel does not look like much but inside the compound, the room was very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The one issue we had is with our shower. As there is no door to the shower, water runs all over the floor and into the bedroom. The slope in the shower is not angled enough to keep water in the shower area. So that water would not get everywhere we had to continuously turn the shower on and...

"We chose to stay in a tent, for the experience, for the one night we spent in Peniche. The place is great, really well thought out, very clean and comfortable. The only problem was that the tent had a mouldy smell, which made actually spending time in the tent and our sleep uncomfortable. The breakfast was good enough, but lacked vegetables. The restaurant staff is very friendly, the food is basic, but food enough if you don't want the hassle to go out. "

"The guesthouse did not expect our arrival until Monday, although we had booked for Sunday. Unfortunately, we were then faced with a closed door and had to quickly find another accommodation on Sunday evening, which was anything but easy and also came at a higher cost. "Friendliest and warmest check in staff. The property was unique, very clean design and interesting touches like vegetable garden as the landscaping. A little drive down to the beaches & town you'll defiantly want a car. Beds and pillows were clean but not real comfortable. Overall a great little space."
