The only annoying thing is the creaky old stairs that made it seem like someone was coming in the room. They said it was an old house. The bar on the bottom is nice, they called a taxi for me when I needed to leave. The location is walkable but depending on where you are going be aware that there are hills in Coimbria. It felt like we were lodging in someone's comfortable home, located in a residential neighborhood but close to the university, shops, etc. Our hosts were invisible most of the time (jn a GOOD way) but always available as we needed them.
