Palace hotel Porto

A very old and tired hotel. Room had not been aired for a long time so smelled damp and musty - I had to open the window as soon as I entered the room. Old furniture, old and dilapidated bathroom / shower. Span and gym not available. Swimming pool available but costs €18 for a swim! I dont expect to pay as a guest of the hotel. Breakfast OK - coffee cold.

Hotel was a good location for a wedding venue we were attending, although not much around the area. The breakfast was not very nice, and there were no snacks or food available for people arriving late in the evening. The beds were very comfortable, however there were stains in the bathrooms and communal areas were quite shabby. When walking down some stairs to the pool, they were crumbling beneath my parents feet. It is extremely expensive to get into Porto unless you want to take a 2.5 hour bus.

If you don’t speak English please translate as it is important for you! traveled a lot in my live, don’t choose this place! I booked two night’s and prepaid This place is a complete joke referring to the „4 Stars category“ Physical: We received a room with bathroom in unacceptable condition. Any joint/connection done with silicon was full of mold! We complained and got a different room. This room was generally in same size and condition and “lucky” the bathroom was only 90% as bad like the room before. Managing: Portugal is well known for their “Galao”, which is more or less similar to Italian “Latte Machiato” As we have seen a professional espresso coffee machine, my wife an me got the cheekynes to ask for such Galao. The waitress explained that on the breakfast buffet is the cattle with instant coffee and the milk is beside. “They do not serve any extras” Ok, we got the information , took our coffees and went to our tables. 2 min later different girl from staff comes, started the espresso machine, prepare here self a “Galao” I asked kindly whether it’s possible to get one as well. The girl said that I have to pay extra. We left this “Installation ” immediately To all who will read this: Physically this place is over its time. Setup remind you of the 60’s Managed like an old communist hostal

Séjour excellent, très propre, choix pour le petit déjeuner. Personnel très serviable et très aimable. Hotel d’un certain âge vieillot qui a besoin d’être restauré. (J’ai perdu le bouchon de mon dentifrice qui est tombé dans la bonde dû bidet que j’ai dû jeter, car il n’y avait pas de cache bonde.)

Para estas cosas hay abogados Contraatacaremos

Adjunto hoja de reclamaciones que no que me querían dar mientras culpaban a Hotels.com La web era bien explicita sobre los servicios de spa;(Los huéspedes podrán darse un capricho en el spa) En el resto de hoteles con SPA si era de pago lo especificaba, así como el desayuno( que en este caso parece que estaba incluido pero no llegamos a pasar la noche allí ) Confirmamos asistencia 3 horas antes de llegada. Una vez allí no podíamos acceder a la habitación por no es estar lista.Es decir, no había sitio donde meternos pero Nos aconsejan que bajemos al SPA que en ningún sitio de la web a la hora de hacer la reserva pone que es de pago.Pero nos piden 26€. Vuelvo a subir y una hora después de hacer el CHEK IN, me quejo de esa controversia en información, que llevamos una hora deambulando por el hall con el calor que hace con la mascarilla puesta y que empleada que atiende a todos los huéspedes es quien hace nuestra habitación una hora después. Pido hoja de reclamaciones y me alegan que se hace de forma Telemática, ante lo que respondo que si no me facilita una de manera inmediata llamaré a la policía. Me la dieron, la he cubierto y se la presentaré a mis abogados. No por los 70€, que me da igual, o no quedarme allí que también me dio igual. Hay cientos de hoteles en oporto y no dejaré de ir. Pero se descalabró el fin de semana entero, obviamente responderé sin perjuicio de ninguno de los derechos a los que hubiere lugar. Que se están estudiando.

o acesso às termas é caro.

Hotel é simpático, os quartos bons e os funcionários prestáveis. A limpeza nos quartos pode melhorar (algum pó…). Sendo um hotel termal, a gestão do balneário não faz sentido e o acesso caro: por cada noite de estadia é possível comprar um voucher de 45m (pelo custo de 10 euros) que apenas dá acesso à piscina dinâmica (sauna e banho turco por mais um extra de 5 euros!). Se quiser fazer a piscina dinâmica duas vezes no próprio dia, ou na manhã do check-out, terá de pagar mais 15 euros diretamente no balneário. Resumindo: ponderando ficar mais uma noite, vim embora.

Esperienza deludente

Sono finito con mia moglie in questa struttura cercando (con troppa fretta) un albergo nei dintorni di Porto. Fidandomi delle 4 stelle, stupidamente non ho badato alle recensioni, che viste solo dopo, erano pochissime e poco rassicuranti. Ma veniamo al dunque. Già all'arrivo l'impressione è stata negativa, con la grande hall dell'albergo buia (credo che le uniche luci accese fossero quelle sopra il bancone della recepcion). La signorina, gentilissima, dandoci la chiave della camera, ha detto che è uso dell'albergo acquisire subito il pagamento del soggiorno (nei 12 giorni portoghesi è stata l'unica ad averlo fatto). Alla nostra richiesta di conoscere l'orario della colazione ha detto di non saperlo, ma che avremmo trovato l'informazione sul cartello all'interno dell'ascensore. La camera era di dimensioni generose, così come il bagno. La pulizia sembrava OK, senonché nel cestino del bagno abbiamo trovato i rifiuti degli ospiti precedenti (una buccia di banana e un flaconcino dello yogurt). Gli asciugamani per la doccia erano troppo piccoli. La ricezione del segnale wifi in camera era debolissima Arrivati nella grande sala colazione/pranzo, la signorina presente ci ha a malapena salutati, in quanto era impegnata a mettere a posto dele cose. La sala, come la hall, era (male) illuminata solo dalla luce esterna e questo, unito al fatto che ci fossero pochissimi ospiti, e al disinteresse del personale, ci ha fatto sentire veramente a disagio. Giudizio del tutto negativo.

Vale para relaxar um pouquinho.

Vale pela piscina térmica, que proporcionou momentos de relaxamento durante uma viagem de turismo intensa. O hotel está um pouco envelhecido, até descuidado, necessitando talvez de uma reforma. O atendimento é muito bom e o café da manhã é ótimo! Com o plus de que o estacionamento é gratuito.

Lugar tranquilo, buen spa.

El hotel es tranquilo. Desayuno bufet y también bufet para la cena. Todo muy rico. (la hora de la comida no me coincidió en el hotel, así que no puedo opinar) Habitación amplia, limpia y tranquila. El hotel es muy grande, pero éramos pocos huéspedes, así que todo emanaba tranquilidad. El spa está en la planta -1, y factura independientemente del hotel. El spa está muy bien. He probado la piscina y un tratamiento en bañera de hidromasaje. Me han parecido precios muy económicos en todos los tratamientos. Pero la experiencia en la piscina no fue todo lo relajante que esperaba porque no sólo permiten entrar niños y niñas pequeñas (cosa que no entiendo, porque la alta temperatura del agua, así como su indice de mineralización, no puede ser bueno para niños y niñas de corta edad), sino que se les permite actuar como si estuvieran en un parque de atracciones, y la verdad, estar tranquilamente disfrutando de los chorros era misión imposible entre los chillidos de las "criaturas" y las de sus padres o madres, a veces para reñirles por algo, a veces para animarles a saltar desde el borde. Y tenerlos cerca, y tener que estar atenta a que no te cayera alguno encima cuando se tiraban a la bomba, o que te salpicaran cuando se ponían a jugar con los chorros ... era de todo menos relajante. Por otro lado, el pueblo en sí no tiene mucho interés, pero si sus alrededores, por la cercanía de los ríos Duero y Támega y por la ruta del románico que hay en la zona. Eso sí, lo mejor es ir en coche

Insatisfacción total

Hemos recibido un trato horrible por parte de la direccion del hotel. Nos tuvieron dos horas alli sin darnos solucion en cuanto a las condiciones de la reserva porque pediamos utilizar la piscina que ofertaban en su pagina, no el spa,forzando la situacion hasta q nos fuimos. El dia anterior a la entrada nos llaman a las siete de la tarde para decirnos q no tenemos habitación y a los dos minutos debido a nuestra protesta nos vuelven a llamar diciendo q ya volvemos a tener habitación . Todo un cúmulo de despropósitos. En ningun momento nos ofrecieron una solución para salir del paso lo unico q querian era que nos fueramos. Eramos cuatro matrimonios con 6 niños.

Fraca; infraestrutura razoável mas mal explorada. Acesso à piscina tem de ser pago, higiene e serviço pouco cuidado. Almofada já tinha sido utilizada por outro cliente... Muito a fazer!
